Does any one else find it much tougher to get their water drunk druing colder weather?

One thing that I was doing OK on in Atkins was getting my OZs of water in me - but now the weather has turned much colder (ice on the ground and a chill wind ablowing!!) I am finding it tougher to drink enough water. Somehow that cup of coffee or even nothing at all seems more tempting!

I guess I just have to force it down - any advice?

I love ice cold water so I haven't had any problems yet. I would suggest that maybe your first drink of the day be something hot like tea, coffee, or broth.

Then once you are warmed up keep drinking the water. You can try warm-up options at lunch and dinner too like soup with water on the side.

I know of people who actually enjoy drinking WARM water. I personally don't care for it, but I am finding now that the colder weather is here, I'm drinking more water at room temperature, which is something I never would have done in the past. I know you'll find a way to get that H20 into you !

I will buy a case of water and not refrigerate it. I am not really fond of ice cold water. I will other drinks ice cold but not water. Weird huh!

I do find it difficult on some days but like the others, I tend not to drink it ice cold in the winter. Also, I don't drink coffee and rarely drink tea. The one hot drink I do indulge in is a sugar free-fat free hot cocoa first thing in the morning and then it is water for the rest of the day with a diet soda maybe one time per week.
