I have priced it out small world vacations come up 100.00 cheaper than dreams unlimited. I would love to have your opinions on past services with these two.
thanks Diane

Hi. I used dreams for our last trip. They give good service. My only complaint is that you can't contact your TA via telephone, only email. With Small World you can use both telephone and email (the phone # is toll free). But, if that's not a big deal to you... (I HATED not being able to speak with my TA) I would definately recommend using a disney specific TA for your first trip. Have a great time!

We used Small World twice and had success both times. Our agent was a little slow at times with e-mail responses, but we could always contact her by phone. We would recommend. :)

I have been very happy with Small World Vacations. I actually received an email code last week and my TA was able to apply it to an existing reservation. I actually was able to upgrade my ressie for just a few dollars and was very excited!!

I am using Small World Vacations for a trip in August.

So far, it's been really smooth, and our TA has been quite helpful and patient in answering our questions and getting us what we've requested.

I have used Dreams Unlimited in the past, and currently am using Dream Come True Vacations. They do Priority Seatings and itinerary planning as well as booking packages and room-only stays. They have been very quick with their email responses to all of my questions.

I highly recommend either of these Disney specialist agencies.

I wonder why there is a $100 difference. Are you sure you asked for quotes for the exact same thing? King bed vrs Standard can make a $100 difference on a 6 night visit at a moderate......

DU is very reputable. Nice thing about them is that you get all your answers in email and can save the email to reference again in the future if you need to.

There are MANY DISers that love them, they convinced me to turn my trip in May over to them. They look for the codes FOR YOU, you don't have to tell them to apply them, they probably know the codes before you do.

Not familiar with SW.

Have a great trip!!

My last two trips I used Small World. They are vey nice but as stated before, a little slow on return e-mails and they never tried to get me any better rates, codes or any discounts. I now know about the discounts and codes that I could have gotten but was never offered. I will use Sue Ellen with DU next time. Oh well, that's how you learn. :wizard:

Small World Vacations does not do PS reservations and Dreams Unlimited do. That may swing you from one to the other.

Hi guys!!!!!!! Nice to find a board of people like me!! YAY!

My hubby was a tad nervous using a travelagent, because it's *disney*, how mcuh do we need to know right? WOW! We became overwhelmed in the planning stages and i asked for help from both dreams and smallworld. smallworld was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! within a day one of their agents contacted me and gave me her number to call and i know i must have bugged her to death, but she was patient with us and helped us plan our trip! They do do ps's, a term I didnt know until she told me (heck, i thought you could just walk up and eat..i was very naive in the beginning!!!!) She even got us the Cinderella's breakfast, something a friend told us we HAD to DO!! I will use small world ffor every trip no because even my hubby is addicted!!! :cheer2: i cant say anything bad about dreams, just that they never contacted me :confused3

Im pretty sure smallworld does that too!!!!! our agent called us not too long after we booked our first trip and explained to us that we could save a considerable amount if we purchased an annualpass. she held us a room at the poly, so we could compare costs and left the decision up to us. Hubby is a numbers cruncher and he was shocked...no one had told us this before! We ended up that first trip saving over $800 at the poly, because of our ta!!

I had the same experience the first time I used Small World. They are great about answering questions and quick to respond. I can reach my agent when I need her, even on a Sunday night during a panic about a forgotten detail. :goodvibes

I'll never go back to using a regular TA to book my Disney trips, not with people like Small World around to help.

I have used Small World Vacations multiple times and they are great! They are always trying to find the best deal possible for me. They always modify reservations if new discounts are released. They makes it SO easy for me! They are the ones listed on Mousesavers for lots of discount information and they even help me with all my PS's.

I highly recommend Small World!

I priced out with both and in my case got the better price from DU. It was also two weeks before Small World even got back to me. I had also tried to get a price quote from them when I booked my Disney Cruise (before I knew of DU) and it was three weeks to hear back that time, despite me stating I was anxious to get that booked. I've heard good things about both. But I have been much happier with DU. Sue Ellen is awesome!

I got quotes from both Dreams Unlimited and Small World. While the prices were the same I was given an 800 number for Small World and I felt much more comfortable giving my credit card information to a person I can speak to over the phone. I didn't feel comfortable giving credit card information over the internet. Like I said, the prices were the same. It was more of a comfort issue with me ::MickeyMo
