Is there an official meet planned for the first day? I'd love to meet some fellow DISers, and I bet my girls (10 and 16) would like to meet some kids their own ages.

I registered 10 yo for the kids' club, though she keeps telling me she won't go.....I'm hoping she'll see it and decide to try it. I told both kids that they had to at least go look at their respective clubs, and then if they still don't want to use them, that's OK.

My Christmas gift was a hot stone massage on Wednesday morning (our day at sea)........I'm really looking forward to it.

I got a Rainforest Room Pass for Christmas - very happy !

I feel like I haven't done any planning - can't believe it's less than 2 months!!

I want to do the Palo brunch but it's booked for 2 people but open for a party of 5?? Is this Weird?

They hold back some tables and only have "so many" tables for two. Check as often as you can - tables open up. If you cannot get one, go to Guest Relations once on board and get on a waiting list or maybe they even still have an open table.

I just got assigned a cabin! Who knows if it will stay but as of right now it is 7128!

ME TOO...9566!!! I LOVE the 9th floor!!! I'm so excited I want to jump and down...but the guys don't know yet so I have to contain myself...the room category is a surprise for them...so I'm sharing with you our friends!!!

I've been so busy that I haven't really thought too much about the cruise. Karin's post about "8 weeks" caught me by surprise, and as I type this it's 51 days..........holy cow! This trip is coming up fast! I just sent a request to join the facebook group.

I think because this is our first cruise, it feels pretty unreal to me.

Kim, once you get under 100 days the time just seems to fly by. I cannot believe we are only 7 weeks out.
If only time would slooooooooooooooow down once on board.

I've been so busy with the holidays and family visiting I havent gotten a chance to catch up...doing it now while they all sleep...its 6:31AM...LOL

I am not sure (I am running 4 cruise meet threads), but I think there was talk about a meet already.
My schedule just doesn't allow us to host that meet on the first day. We usually go to the DVC meet and that interferes with hosting it. We will at least try and make it to a meet.

Your kids will love the clubs. We were lucky enough to travel with a family with kids last summer and they took us along to the Open House. It is amazing. Your 10 year old will love it there and the 16 year old won't be seen much either.

3pm or 3.30 sounds like a good time. Keep in mind that Muster Drill is at 4pm if I remember correctly, so any later won't work well.
As for a spot to meet - I always held my meets at the Vista Cafe. Easy to find - just one deck up from the Atrium and ample seating. They have yummy pastries at the cafe too!

Please check the list with details (in my first post - link is in read under the list of FE participants) if all the information is correct. I try to copy without mistakes, but they happen.

Also - there is information missing from the following participants:

Bornteach - first names of everyone sailing and stateroom number

I am glad you enjoy the "until" pics! It's getting more and more real now! I did the online check in for our stay pre and post cruise yesterday and it feels like it is getting closer FAST!!!!!!

With the holidays finally behind me I am ready to start preparing our clothes to pack. I set aside all shorts and t-shirts for my kids and then my husband warned me that they might need some warmer clothes, too. Can anyone tell me what temperatures to expect in Orlando and then on the cruise?
