I like the set up of this cat 9a room (7502)...much better than the others.

I like this room's layout...much better than the other's (7502)

Don't most cabins have beds that can be separated into twins? It looks like these beds cannot be separated. :confused3

Unfortunately, on the Dream, the queen beds can no longer be separated. HUGE mistake as far as I'm concerned.

But the beds on the Dream are soooooo comfortable!!! I think much more so than the classic ships.

MJ - What about the location of 8504? Is it above or below or something really close to Vibe? Any noise issues?

Yes they are and so are the pillows. I posted a question wanting to know the brand of the pillows, if anyone knows please share.

No noise issues....the view is to the front, over the bow and you can see a bit of the outdoor area of vibe (when it is light out).

Here is a pic of the sunset from the porthole in 8504

I could actually "stand up" in the porthole area and I am 5'7". I did have to duck to put my head under the edge of the porthole and then stand up but I would stand there and look out all the time....the night sky was beautiful!

How many people can sleep in 7502? I don't see anything on the ceiling indicating a pull-down bed.

My pictures above are a little large, sorry I have never posted a picture before. I forgot to take a picture of the closets which were behind the opened front door. Didn't think I would like this room, but I ended up loving it. I would book it again..

Wow, thanks for the pictures, a lot larger than I thought it would be. Getting excited again !!!

I like the room, too! We are staying in a cat 8D room. It will be our first cruise, so I don't have anything to compare it to!

Both us & our friends booked Cat 9A rooms, and they ended up having a corner room & we had a "normal" room but with the slanted window. The amount of extra space was quite significant... I wouldn't mind the room as much as the location. It seemed a little more sensitive to rougher waters. Just my opinion...

Thanks for posting these photos! The room looks well laid out, I like that the TV is positioned opposite the bed. Not sure I like the porthole though.

From the way the porthole slants up and the large sill, is the only view you get either straight out or the sky? Doesn't appear that you could possibly see down. :confused3

I think the room is cute, and looks big. When we were booking we had the option of 8504 or 8506 and I chose the latter. Now I wish I had picked the other. It's definately different, but in a good way.

We were in room 7002... the view really wasn't bad at all. You can see more out than up, but we enjoyed the room a lot. Granted we weren't in it too much as there was SO MUCH to do & see around the ship :cloud9:

Here is a picture of the view from our slanted porthole... hopefully the link works??

Do you have any other pictures of 7002. I have the room booked and have not seen any others.

Thanks

I do... I'm having issues with my camer - its decided it does not want to upload the pictures? so i have given up for the night & will try again tomorrow. Hoping to get them up soon!!
