Marissa sweetie
That looks like a fantastic schedule!!
Have you officially booked Mizner's for your after-wedding party (will it be closed to other guests?) or are you just going there 'unofficially'?
I think you may have some trouble using 'Top of the World' lounge. I own at BLT and will be staying there for my VR. I was hoping to have drinks there after my reception dinner at Citricos, but some of my guests are staying at AKV and we were told that they would not be able to join us. Likewise, on our last trip, we stayed at AKV and, since I owned at BLT too, I wanted to have drinks at TOTW lounge, but was told that as I was not staying at BLT that trip, I could not use it (even though I owned there )

Thanks for the tips! My parents are staying at Bay Lake for the wedding with my siblings and grandparents, but Chris and I will be staying at the GF. Im just not sure if they are allowed to bring guests who aren't staying there up to the TOTWL with them though? It sounds like probably not. Maybe it would be easier to just do the Wave bar instead, so everyone can just come and go as they please. It looks like it has a nice lounge too. Most of my family wants to stay at the Contemporary to be close to my family, so it would be a pretty convenient place to meet up I think. Although most of Chris's family wants to stay at Port Orleans Riverside.

I do have several night activities planned but I wanted to make sure I had at least one activity per day where our guests could get together with us if they want to, but I didnt want to deal with dinner reservations when I have no idea how many people are coming! We just have to make sure we dont stay out too late and wear ourselves out too much!

No we havent booked anything with Mizner's we were planning to just go there with whoever wanted to after the wedding. Do you think I should call them just to let them know a group is coming that night? Should I change or stay in my wedding gown? I also have changed the plan for dinner the night before our early morning photo shoot, and now plan on going to the early seating at Victoria and Albert's instead to give us more time to rest up that night.

I welcome any more feedback or advice anyone else has too about our schedule!

Your schedule sounds like a ton of fun! I think it's great you are including an activity each day that guests can attend. There are two things I might think about. Do you want to drink around the world the night before the wedding? I would just worry about people having a little too much to drink and then not feeling well for the wedding. I guess it depends on your guests, but it might be better to do that another night. My only other suggestion would be to possibly do the farewell brunch two days after the wedding rather than the day after. Since you will have just spent the whole day with your guests the day before it might be nice to spend the whole day alone with your DF and then do the brunch the next day, unless a lot of your guests are planning on leaving the day after the wedding. That's so exciting that you are staying at the new Disney hotel in Hawaiii! It looks amazing!

Congrats on getting your date! How wonderful that your anniversary will stay the same. The Save the Dates look great, I'm sure your guests will love them. You're going to have a great time at 1900 Park Fare on the wedding day. We also went to Victoria's and Albert's the day after the wedding and it was the perfect way to spend our first dinner alone as a married couple. The food is really amazing and it's so romantic there.

Stationary!

I have picked out my wedding stationary already, they are slightly different for each event but similar in colors and style I think so hopefully they cordinate well. I already posted my Bridesmaid Cards and Save the Dates...so here are the rest! What do you think of my picks?

Hi. Just joining in. I love all your plans. You and your DF look soo great in all of your pics I especially love the engagement pic. Love the pink sweater and shoes..but than again pink is my fav color so I'm partial. :lmao: You are so ahead of the game. It just made me realize I need to get a move on. :lmao: Looking forward to reading more. popcorn::

I love all the stationary! I think it matches perfectly while each one is still unique! Where did you get it all from?

LOVING all of the stationary! I want to do all that! I guess it wouldnt hurt to start looooking..:rolleyes1 hehehe Where did you come up with it all?

Love the table numbers. Did you make them? If so where did you get the clipart/pictures. They are great!

Thanks! Yes those were the only ones I did make. I got the art from the boards about a year and a half ago I think, right after I got engaged and made them with cardstock. Unfortunately, I dont have them anymore though because they were on my old computer and it crashed last summer. I love how they turned out though, because I am not really a DIY person haha

Everything looks great!! I love the stationary, it all fits well together!

For the 16 month booking that you just did, Did you sign anything?? I'm wondering how this goes...:confused3 As I understand that if a convention comes in they can take the space up until the 12 month contract.:headache:

Hey Amanda! Thanks! No, we didnt get to sign anything yet. We just got an email from our consultant that confirmed our dates and locations. No bride can take your date after that, but I believe conventions can book up until 12 months. Hopefully that wont happen though!

Good to know!! Yes, that's what I am worried about those stupid conventions being able to take your date:scared1:

GOOD LUCK!! Hoping that that doesn't happen to you!

Everything looks amazing so far! Can't wait to read more!!

Decor Ideas!

As I have mentioned, my colors are going to be hot pink and silver with touches of lighter shades of pink and sparkle. My theme is a subtle Cinderella/Happily Ever After Fairy Tale. Here are my ideas!

Ceremony: White aisle runner pictured previously with hot pink rose petals scattered on top of it. Altar arrangement with unity candle. Possibly silver candelabra ceterpieces lining aisle if allowed?

Floral:
I want my bouquet to be all roses in shades of hot pink, lighter pinks, and white with rhinestone accents. Some inspiration photos:

Minus the stephanotos (sp?)

Here are the accessories I have bought:

Except mine is an "M"

For the bridesmaids, I am deciding between shades of light pink and white roses like in the second photo below, or all white roses. Since they will be in fuschia dresses, I am leaning towards all white because of the contrast like in the first below photo, what do you think? For my sister/MOH I will also add sparkles to hers too.

For my flowergirl, I will have a rosewand in either hot pink or white with hot pink depending on which color dress she wears:

Altar/Sweetheart table flowers:
All roses similar to this but without the carnations, and a mix of shades of pink and white
AlterArrangement2.jpg

Pre-reception Decor: One of these on each of the tables out on the patio but with hot pink rose petals. Does anyone know the cost of these?

Reception Decor:
I love the tulle canopy and would like the mural in Whitehall covered.

Table Decor:
I am envisioning lighter pink table cloths with pixie dust over lays, similiar to these linens.

Silver chivari chairs possibly with silver bows, and silver napkins similar to this photo:
TableDecor1.jpg

Centerpieces: Silver crystal candleabras with hot pink rose petals sprinkled around them on tables

Cake and cake table:
I am imagining a set up similar to this one but with the Happily Ever After cake with a castle on top and rhinestone bands around each tier

And this cake server

Favors: Def. something chocolate! I am leaning towards the placecards. Which of these do you think is cuter?

Dessert Party Decor: I love these gelly things! Anyone know how much they cost?
