You know, I can't really think of something that I'd never experienced that I wish I could, but I can think of something that I did experience that I wish I could see again. Not sure if that will count, so I won't put it down.

Happy New Year, ladies. In less than 24 hours you can say you are going to WDW this year/this month!

That is a tough question... I have to think on that one.

Yayayaya!! We are going to Disney THIS MONTH!! Oh, that makes me happy!!

We'd be the coolest two gals in all of the Northeast that is for sure.....think it would be safe to take on the highway LOL

We surely would, I think it would do just fine on the highway.

Horizons...I don't remember much about it but I do remember that at the end, sort of like what they do on SSE now, is you got to choose your ending, like where you would want to live or explore or something. I would always pick the ocean. LOL. Yeah, it's been a loooong time.

As for an extinct attraction I'd like to do, I might have to agree with 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

I rode 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and I was only 5 so it left an impression.

Jen, I know I rode Horizons when Epcot first opened when we went in February, 1982, but it must not have made a lasting impression on me because I don't remember it at all.

LL, love the Mary Poppins car -- it's just perfect for you! As far as bags, take a little book with you into the parks!

What ride do I wish I had ridden before it closed? Hmmm, I think I wish I had experienced Alien Encounter. It had to have been better than Stitch's Great Escape, and I am always intrigued when I read about how scary it was.

I could take a little book I suppose but that is just restrictive. I might go out looking for small books today, I'm in the mood to shop!

Marc rode Alien Encounter and he still raves about it, he said it awesome but he was also 15 when he rode it so that could be swaying his bias a little.

Second - I would like to do Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and 20000 leagues. I have missed so much!!

I remember Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and all I remember from it was that it was very jerky. Which makes sense, don't you think?

Question of the Day...

If you could stop any ride at any point to explore more, what would you choose?

Jen - This is a direct quote from Jen's text message to me this morning "Haunted Mansion Attic but of course".

Leslie - I think it would be on the Haunted Mansion in the Attic Room. Whenever I am on Haunted Mansion, I feel like I miss so much on that part of the ride. I love all the pictures of the Bride with her Grooms, I just find it all very interesting...except for the creepy Bride that speaks at the end.

Oh and I'd like to point out I had written my answer out in the update and then Jen texted me. I just knew we were going to have the same answer! Not that it should surprise us at this point.

Oy. I just realized that I leave 3 weeks from tomorrow!! I have so much to do, but on the upside that means only 3 more work Mondays!! Actually I have one off for Martin Luther King day!!

Alright, must get motivated and get some things done in this new year!

We have been stopped in the attic by "mischievous spirits" before, and it is really neat to see everything. We have also been stopped in the ballroom -- another neat spot to watch the happenings.

Okay, here is my confession: I don't want any ride to stop anywhere because I have a fear of trying to figure out how to get out of a ride that won't start back up again. I just need everything to keep running right along with no "unnatural" pauses.

May your 2011 be wonderful! I think kicking it off with a Disney trip will be a great start!

I have thought about that many times...stopping the Haunted Mansion ride and getting out and exploring. I think that it would be very cool, but only if I could jump back in the doom buggy at any given moment and speed right on out of there if I got freaked out!

I'd like to think I would be okay with the Haunted Mansion stopping at any point, but something tells me I would rather it stop during the day then at night LOL!!!!!

I really, really miss the Tapestry of Nations parade. I loved the puppetry, the beauty, and the music. It was a gorgeous, simple parade, and I wish I could see it again.

As for this question, I'm lucky enough that I've had my dream stop, so to speak. Mom and I were on Pirates one time, and we got stopped right at the end, right in front of Jack in the treasure room.

HEAVEN! I got to hear his whole dialogue, the talking to the parrot, the singing, it was hilarious. I can't even remember half the things he says, but it was just great to sit and listen to that dialgoue, and enjoy some pirate eye candy.

Ooooh, that's a tough one. Hmmm....perhaps Kilamanjaro Safari - which now I can do if I want to pay! I'd also love to see the backstage area of Beauty & the Beast at DHS--or really, any of the shows. I used to be involved in theater and was one of the people in charge backstage and I just loved it. All the work that goes into a show that no one ever sees still fascinates me.

NICE!!!! I wouldn't mind getting stopped there either!! You often go by it to fast to appreciate all that he says and all that eye candy LOL!!!!!

Oh let me say THAT happened to Matt and Griffin and goodness was that NO fun!!! So I have to say I am with CP on the "I prefer no unnatural pauses" vote!! Though when the Disneyland Holiday overlay stopped I was okay with that I don't think I could handle being stuck in the MK HM Attic though!!!

Okay, maybe Its a Small World... or Peter Pan... Those I could probably handle...

I think it will be a great start too, it also helps me deal with winter so much better!

The holiday meal was a lot of work but I actually enjoyed it. I'm making just roast and yorkshire pudding for Marc & I tomorrow. I have to reinforce the cooking while I still remember. By next Christmas I will be a pro.

I did theater when I was younger and I loved the hustle & bustle backstage.

That is interesting, I am curious which one Leslie wouldn't be stopped on...I could think of a few more...besides Everest...I think the vultures saying "Can't Turn Back Now" on Splash Mountain would NOT be okay for me to stop at...I barely make it through that scene the first time, if it stopped there I would cry and try to climb out LOL!!!
