I have found invaluable advice on these boards in the past and haven't posted too often recently, but am hoping you will be willing to share exeriences with me that can help me make my decision.....
I am not quite sure which stoller or strollers to take with us for our upcoming December visit.
A few details about our trip might be helpful to know up front. We are flying and will have a rental car (Minivan) for our stay and we are staying at WL.
Our infant car seat works with both a single stroller we have plus with our double (tandem).
We have two little boys, DS1 will be 21 months; DS2 will be 6 months on this trip.
I am struggling with which set up would work best on the trip. Am leaning towards the two individual ones over our bulky double.
We are not considering renting for the older child because I don't think he will be old enough to stay seated in it as he is active, but does sit happily in both our stroller options when using them at home. Whichever option we take from home...both boys can recline fully for naps also
My concern with our double is it is heavy and bulky and overall just not as user friendly as our two individual strollers, but at least with the double...one of us has empty hands at all times which would be very helpful if the little one gets fussy and wants to be held...easier to do if you aren't pushing a stroller too.
I guess we should consider taking a sling or front carrier as well..but that's another decision and will think about that after I solve my stroller decision.
Has anyone flown and chosen to bring their double over two singles? Would you please share your experiences or thoughts?
Thanks so much for your help!
