Double FP for resort guests with seperate tickets.

Gosh, what a team player you are sacrificing riding all those awful headliner attractions repeatedly in the name of Dis research ;)

Can't wait to hear back from you popcorn::

Lost them in the pool, on space mountain, buried in the sand at the Poly beach, those darn cards are so hard to keep up with! :rotfl:

CM at front desk: "But sir, how can it be that your whole family lost their KTTW cards...... for the fourth time within an hour of arriving?" :rotfl:

Please everybody, I'm kidding. Don't take me seriously.

Did this 4th of July and it's pretty much how I rode everything with no waits. At one point I had 5 fastpasses in my possession. Worked at every park too.

Maybe this is why even with Fastpass yesterday Splash Mountain still had kind of a long wait (around 20 minutes). This is unfair to people not staying in resorts

I really doubt the number of people who know about this are enough to add a single minute to any line.

Splash often has a long wait wih FP. It has for years (because of it constantly stopping for one reason or another).

Aarrgghhhhh! WHY didn't I hear about this BEFORE my trip the other week?!?! :yay: :rotfl2: <---- me throwing a temper tantrum

I plan on trying it when we head down next week, but seriously, does everyone need to abuse this loophole as well. 5 at the same time is a bit much, even if it is possible it is more than unfair to others even those on the FP+ test.

And not getting picked to do FP+ can seem "unfair" to someone as well. It would be nice to pick out my fastpass rides ahead of time on a major holiday. I read about this on the boards a few days before my trip and gave it a try. It worked. I am an AP holder who cannot even access my passholder site because of all this MDE nonsense so yes, I will take advantage of their glitches.

This is the company that can make it look like Nemo is swimming in a real aquarium but cannot get a website to work for the life of it.

We used it only to get around the BTGs- 10 in DHS on one morning was MORE than enough incentive for us! They were well-behaved and organized, but just huge groups! We did rope drop, and still only got to standby ride then FP ride TSMM, and do ToT and RnR once each. Also used it the following day for Soarin and TT at rope drop with the standby/FP ride on TT. Again, LOTS of BTGs, and that was the day Soarin was down at opening, then went down again at noon.

We did not overuse it, and don't feel we were any more "unfair" than people in the test group for FP+ were using both FP systems. Or people who use FPs that are "disconnected" from the system like Barnstormer and Dumbo. (With those 2 and the Town Square M&Gs, you could conceivably have 5 FPs in your possession at once under the current system anyway!)

It will be a moot point eventually, anyway, when magic bands take over...

I'd have to agree with you on that.

And I'm sorry but if Disney's system isn't sophisticated enough to prevent double dipping during their test, then they get what they get.

All this double dipping and being able to book late fasspasses ( like tsm at 6 7 8pm) now being able to book lunch at the new castle. Begining to feel very poorly treated by disney. Worried our aug trip will be less than magical :-(
Certainly my planning is very disheartening.

That's the part that Disney is missing with all of this. For every guest they prioritize UP in standing, they are pushing someone further DOWN. And people DO notice.

I think that is the FP+ system- only a limited number can do that. The double dipping should work with any ticket not on a KTTW card until FP+ is completely rolled out.

being able to book lunch at the new castle.

Did I miss something here, or is this another FP+ thing? Maybe "preorder" lunch, not "reserve"? We ate at BOG 2 weeks ago for lunch. Got in line at 11 and were eating by 11:15. This was on the same day that by 1:00 had long lines in MK, with HM and POC posting 45+ minute waits by 12:30. Should not be an issue for you to not reserve lunch- just get there a little earlier in the day. :)

I will also add that even in mid-July, we did not even need FP for much until we ran into the tour groups. Almost every night the week we were there Splash was a 10 minute wait around parade/Wishes time, and BTMRR was about 25-30 for standby.

Well, as promised, I took one for the team! We just checked in today and went straight to DHS. I brought last years KTTW card and tried it in RnRC fp macine. Denied! It spit out the sheet that said this card hasn't been activated in a park today. So, our test failed.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! My dreams are ruined.

Did the KTTW ever have tickets associated with it? Have heard that KTTW without tickets (ever) and tickets without KTTW will work, but not when together on the same card.

Thanks for checking and reporting back. Sorry it didn't work... Maybe it was that they were inactive since they were from a prior trip- or maybe only the new RFID ones work for this?

No worries! I didn't really want to double dip. Regular fp are good enough for us!
