Double FP for resort guests with seperate tickets.

I just read a poster on another thread referring to this as Fastpassapalooza.

Kind of fits. The only thing I am really glad about is that I have my FP+ for TSM each day at HS and don't have to run with the bulls to get an early time slot. Now if there are any left when I get there....BONUS!

Ok...At Epcot now. Because of a resort overbooking issue, I now have a KTTW card that is not attached to my profile at all. That card, my CBR KTTW card, and my AP all worked for FP. So out seems it is not profile related, but KTTW cards in general are active as mentioned before.

And before anyone says anything..I did not double dip..I got the exact amount I was entitled to as normal...I just used different cards.

I find the idea of "theme park morality" very amusing :)

Anyway, so my question is: if you enter with your magic band, your physical park ticket (i.e. my RFID card AP) somehow knows that you've entered the park for the day and will work in the FP machines?

We're part of the upcoming Sept test, and while I wasn't interested in messing with FP+, the nice CM in the IT department talked me into it, saying I had nothing to lose. He said to go and make your FP+ reservations, but don't stress about it, because I could just use my card AP to pull regular FPs also. I just wanted to make sure this is correct info.

All that being said, I'll have FP+, my AP, my KTTWC, and the 6 RFID KTTWCs I just found from previous trips and they'll likely all work?

My three year old is going to be riding Test Track- LIKE A BOSS!

Our MBs work and the KTTWC also let's us pull fast passes. Though with two kids under 5 we don have fp runners and haven't really taken advantage. Obviously people are aware of the tricks- how else can you explain return time of 4pm at 9:30am for TSMM. I know it's popular, but over 5 hours later?????

I'll be honest with you for TSMM that is pretty normal.

We leave in 4 days... so am I correct in saying that with only having old KTTW cards from previous trips with used up tickets on them (package reservation), and with us again having a package reservation through disney this time, that there's no way to double-dip? I have to say, I'm super jealous of those with MB's and KTTW cards now, as well as those that have room only reservations with separate tickets or APs!

Josh just used his KTTW card from September of 2012 and his AP to double dip on the FP so this is definitely doable. Find your old cards people and Fastpassapalooza it while you still can!:thumbsup2

He also said earlier that any card with a magstripe worked, which doesn't appear to be true.

I wonder, is it RFID KTTW cards that work? When did the changeover for resorts start?

Agreed, ridiculously fun but it can only accommodate probably around 12,000 - 13,000 on an average day based on what I've read.

Might even be less than that...there was a OHRC reduction when they made some changes to the loading platforms.

We just ot back from Fastpassapoloozia early yesterday. Our last park day was Sat, aug 31. When we went to DTD the previous Saturday, I went to guest relations and asked them if they could issue my tickets early. So I wouldn't have to get them early Sunday morning when we checked into the resort. Got them issued now problem. POR said they issued them on our KTTw cards Sunday morning but when we went over to MK that morning around 7:30am, we used our DTD issued tickets to get in to the park. Pulled a set of FP's for Space mountain with our tickets, then walked over to BTMR and got a set of Fast passes using our KTTW cards. While we only double dipped a couple of times with both sets, I did flip using the cards at different attractions and used the FP's that way. But most of the FP's I got we didn't even use. Since they don't allow late returns anymore, most of out fastpasses always seemed to coincide with our afternoon break time. And most of the week we didn't really need fastpasses because parks were very uncrowded, and standby lines where pretty short for most attractions.

Will the KTTW cards pull FastPasses if a ticket is not linked to them? I have military tickets which cannot be linked to the cards but have been able to be linked to the MagicBands leaving me with three potential sources of FastPass withdrawals?

Yes.

:thumbsup2

Had no trouble getting FPs over the weekend with a KTTW with no ticket entitlements.

Just a heads up. There is a RUMOR (again, this is a RUMOR so take it as you want to) in another thread that Disney has told some people that FP+ will be suspended during the months of November and December and started back up in January.

Again, this is a RUMOR started by somebody in England saying somebody at Disney told them that and then it was later confirmed by somebody else. I have a hard time believe it, but I could see where during the high season they would want to do this to not screw up the system, plus they could stop people from double dipping during that time.

From what I read, they were NOT told that there would be no testing, only that they weren't adding anyone YET for testing in November on. They said nothing about suspending testing, etc. Someone else interpreted it as they were shutting it down.

I know someone already said yes, all three would work, but I'm thinking that if you link your military tickets to the magic band, then the hard copy of the military tickets would now be void? Otherwise, you'd have two sets of admission, which I have a hard time believing Disney would allow as a loophole. Or do all the Magic bands come with hard copy admission tickets? I thought they just issued room keys? And if you do end up with bands and tix that allow people in, what stops people from reselling the hard tix?
