That's why I stayed Upstairs while DH put together 2 Bar stools for the Breakfast nook and 2 dining room chairs :rolleyes1

Thank You.. and the Couches are so soft.. Your body sinks :cloud9:

Look at all that new furniture~ How exciting~

Although--assembling anything gives me major headaches (I am so very NOT spatially intelligent!). Even instructions on how to assemble a kite or put together a toy for DS makes my brain go on overload. I just cannot assemble things....so seeing that picture just made my brain say WOAH!!!!

At least there's a place to relax already assembled :)

It *IS* very exciting, Stacy!! Yet...I don't envy you at all!! I'm a patient person, but when it comes to putting furniture together, I get frustrated with the what-they-call-instructions-sheet. If it were only 11 months later, you could make your pre-cruise "room at the inn admission" for each houseguest to grab a box and screwdriver and come out of their corner when they have a usuable product! :rotfl2:

I'm hoping to see lots of trick-or-treaters on our thread this week! :goodvibes

Who will your little angel  be this year?
:hippie: pirate: :cheer2: :joker: :clown: :firefight :charac4: pooh: :stitch2: ::MinnieMo :chewy: :tinker:

:goodvibes Oooo Ooooo Ooooooo!!! :goodvibes

I'm working from home today, and just got the mail. I ordered a personalized "accessory" for my fish extender gift giving last week, and it's here already!!! :woohoo:

Along the same lines....my CafePress order for 2 t-shirts and 2 journals has not moved out of Production status nor have I received any emails of concern from them. I placed my order on 10/13. For those of you who have experience with CP, do you find this wait normal? Maybe its my imagination, but I thought Erik's order when through more quickly....albeit I have journals, too.

OOOOOKAY...so I'm not the only one ordering from CafePress so early :) I designed our stuff & have it saved, thinking I'm surely ordering way too early and I must be crazy. I'm putting them in our shopping cart today & purchasing them :)

I'm glad we have time to think on the Fish Extender gifts. I want to do something kitchy & neat...but I haven't found "just the thing" yet. Hmmmmm....

On that note--any one want to comment on past FE fun & what your favorite gift was?

On our last cruise, we did a Tag type gift exchange, and my favorite thing was a bag of personalized M&Ms...that said...Tag, You're It! and Disney Magic. Those were neat (but I know they cost a pretty penny!).

Thanks for the news, FatherForce! I still haven't read the link you sent last week, and based on responses I have read, I certainly get the impression I'm going to be sad and disappointed in some people. So I have some catching up to do!

I made the decision this weekend to extend my WDW pre-cruise stay yet another day at my awesome $62/night rate! :goodvibes So now I'll arrive on Sunday the 21st!!! :cool1:

Over the past several days, I "had" to surf through 311 pages on the Pop Century FAQ thread to learn what I didn't know I needed to know related to the resort. It was waaayyyy too painful, so I admit I skipped the pages around 100-200. At some point in this exasperating process, I took notes and finally consolidated good meat from about 150 pages into 7 bulleted pages in MS Word. There's more that was well summarized in Post #1 as well, so it's a nice blend. I'm going to see if I can get this consolidated and categorized info in a convenient place so other new Poppers don't have the pain I endured!! I'm sure there's soooo much more people can contribute, but 150 msg board pages to 7 Word pages is a great start, imo. (Do you hear my project management strings humming? :rotfl2: )

Those M&Ms are indeed a bright shiney silver dollar or two or three or four. Just for giggles, I priced them out last week. They looked really cool. I love ya'll :lovestruc , but there are a lot of you to love, so by default, I don't love ya THAT much! :rotfl2: Your tagger was very funny with her choice of words! I love it!

Actually, she did a really smart thing. The sandwich-sized bag was FULL of dark brown (maybe black, but I'm pretty sure they were brown) M&Ms, and then maybe 1/8 cup worth of red M&Ms that were personalized. So it wasn't completly full of personalized ones, but even then, it was not cheap to just place one simple order from there!

I had priced them out a few years ago for a baby shower I hosted, and nearly fell off my chair when I saw the final price. Yikes!

BUT...that one single Tag gift was one that everyone commented on when we returned home & started posting to the message boards again for our thread. So maybe it WAS worth it after all :)

I have PLENTY of Screwdrivers and Tools for anyone staying at the "Inn" so if ya'll wanna drop on by... :rolleyes1

You can Think of it as a House Warming Gift to us :goodvibes

:dance3:

Oh and I recently found out that not 1 but 2 people here on our Double Dipper.. are also Booked on the December cruise DH & I are on this year :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I've never been fortunate enough to have the same cruise mates before.. It gives me a little more excitment knowing we will see them both Twice :woohoo:

I can't believe it's been a month since our cruise. Just 11 more months to go for our "Double Dip Delight":yay:

We stayed at the pop last May so if you have any unanswered questions, I'd be happy to answer. It's Alex's favorite resort. We're planning on staying there 4 nights after the cruise just so when we get off the ship we don't have to jump on a plane.

Welcome fellow Buckeye!!

Our thread has quite a busy bunch of chatters! As the Cast Roll Call List keeper, let me suggest that you check out Post 577 (link in my signature) to see if there's anything else listed there that you would like to share about yourselves. There's a website currently under development, and the information you give me will get posted up there!

Post 577 is also a good "go-to" thread to see what kind of activites we've been talking about. If you have other suggestions, please share!!! For some of the activities that may make you say "Hmmm...what is that?!", I tried to add links to other posts that discuss it. Certainly ask if there's anything you want to know more about. This post also has info about locating our cruise logo so you can use it for door magnets, your siggy, or whatever you choose.

I'm thrilled to have you join us!!

WOW! That's amazing! It would be wonderful to meet up in December!!

Oh my gosh!! THANK YOU!!! I just might take you up on that! I have to admit I like chatting with the DCL DISers more! ;)

I was hesitant to stay at a value resort, but the more I've learned about this place, the better I feel. I think it will suit us just fine and well worth the savings! No doubt this will make you and Alex's trip just that more special!

We stayed at Pop once before and I liked it, just as well, if not better than Port Orleans French Quarters. If we decide to go to the parks before this cruise that is were we will be staying this time. I will also be happy to try to answer any questions you might have. Lois

Lois, :thanks:

So you're considering extending your vacation to more than 3 weeks of cruising? Sweet!

What we are considering is doing 1 week at WDW and then two cruises. Still three weeks. I am hoping for the free dining offer again. If we don't do WDW then we will do the B2B2B. Either way it is one heck of a vacation. I just love the parks and to do them without kids sounds like a whole lot of fun. We would leave on Friday and go to the MCO Hyatt to meet my sister and the kids to prepare for the cruise. I just can't wait. Lois
