you must be in TR?? if so, going to the parade? we are in jackson.

we were there last night trick or treating. it was nice, now we can go to our friends house tonight for their party.

We actually live in Island Heights, right next door to Toms River..

We have been to countless TR parades but this year DS is working and DH isn't feeling so well.. Kinda tired and sluggish.. I hope he isn't getting sick.. and I worked all day and I'm ready to watch it on TV :happytv:

In 5 weeks I will be on DCL Magic 7 night Eastern :cool1:

We leave the 7th, staying at our house in FL, Catch the ship on the 8th - 16th, stay the night at the Florida house and Home to NJ on the 17th..

DH & I are going SOLO this time  Haven't been on a Real Vacation JUST with DH in a looooooooooooong time

I placed my first Cafepress order about a month ago, and since, have placed 2 more orders. They are usually sent out within 2 days, and arrive within one week, so you might want to re-check on that one.

The trick-or-treater stream is pretty sparse at this point. It was a fun night though!

I received the following response from CafePress:

"Due to a back up in production, your order has been delayed. I have escalated this matter to my Manager, who will contact our production facilities and request that your order be shipped as soon as possible. As a courtesy, I have upgraded your shipping to 1 Day."

Hmmm....if Chris has been getting his orders quickly, I'm not sure if I understand what the back up is unless it's related to the product itself. So I'm not sure if it's the type of T-shirts I selected (women's with black cap sleeves) or the journal that's holding the order up. If any of you may have recently ordered the same, know your order may be delayed as well.

My guess is my order was lost in the system somehow, and I'll see it come my way by the weekend!

I was curious.. Does anyone have a Myspace page? Mine is set to private so you'd have to be a Friend to view mine.. However drop me a request and I'll approve it..

It's the normal myspace address and then /pfishgirl

:thumbsup2

5 weeks from today we will be getting on the plane, we will be at BCV Dec 5-10 :cool1:

Heyyyyy! We'll be at WDW from Dec. 3-6 too! We're staying at Caribbean Beach.

We already had planned a January 4 night trip with my older stepdaughter because she has a long weekend out of school (she's not homeschooled). Then the more we talked, we were missing the Disney Christmas scene, so we booked a quick trip to get our fill of December Disney :)

We are anxiously waiting for trick or treaters - mostly our grandbabies :goodvibes DH is excited to be giving out gummy eyeballs this year!

Well we had a whooping 17 trick or treaters tonight. We have lots of candy left over as a result. Hopefully, it doesn't find its way to my hips!

oh Brandi I hope Fiona is better now!

Kimberly thanks for the info on the resorts Ill have to bring that up to E!

Tonight E took the boys Trick o Treat'n LOL Usually he is gone for this so I go with the boys. This time he took them and I passed out candy its been pretty quiet around here! They were gone for about an hour total. Which the boys said mom takes us longer (true about an hour and half is all LOL) But E said it was like every 2 houses had candy or lights on. Kind of sad. Not as many do it. They came back with a good small stash which if fine since it seems we will have half the candy that I bought left over still .. great just what I need!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone had a great night!

We only had about 25 here, too. There weren't very many lights on our street this year. My DGS, 2 1/2 enjoyed answering the door with me in his Buzz Lightyear costume - got a little frightened by some of the costumes :scared1: The ones he liked, he would go out on the step and wave, "have a good night! Watch out for the cars!" Some kids said, "Happy Halloween!" and he said, "they were SO happy!" :rotfl2: We also have a huge bowl left over for my hips - no kids to give it to. :goodvibes

Yeah, actually, I placed an order last week Wednesday for 7 t shirts and 3 magnets, and it arrived today, about the same time as my last two orders, ALL of which have taken place in the month of October. They probably really are out of the specific shirts or journals you wanted. I'm sure it'll arrive shortly.

I knew I missed a comment. I would love to have all that furniture to put together. I love doing that kind of thing. It's almost as much fun as sewing. We have 5 grown kids and 6 grandkids and my husband has never assembled a crib or even set up a Pack n Play. I get to do it.

CS

You sound exactly like me. I love putting stuff together like that. Usually my husband helps out with the kids & makes dinner while I do my thing. One time, my husband went away for the weekend & I completely tiled our 3 car garage with peel & stick tiles. I even have my own tool box, drill, level etc.

We had AT LEAST 200-250 trick or treaters tonight. We live in a very flat neighborhhod that has just under 100 homes in it. It's perfect for trick or treating. A lot of us do bonfires in our driveways and just hang out. Very fun.

We stayed at Pop once before and I liked it, just as well, if not better than Port Orleans French Quarters. If we decide to go to the parks before this cruise that is were we will be staying this time. I will also be happy to try to answer any questions you might have. Lois
What go to the parks without us that's just bad:scared1: Hi all !
three princesses this time. princess: princess: princess: and me.

What we are considering is doing 1 week at WDW and then two cruises. Still three weeks. I am hoping for the free dining offer again. If we don't do WDW then we will do the B2B2B. Either way it is one heck of a vacation. I just love the parks and to do them without kids sounds like a whole lot of fun. We would leave on Friday and go to the MCO Hyatt to meet my sister and the kids to prepare for the cruise. I just can't wait. Lois

Shall we just forward your mail to WDW or DCL? No Kids or little sisters :confused3 So where is the fun in that:confused:

we get NONE! we are at the end on a poorly lite dirt road. because of that we go to a condo development to t-o-t. way too much candy!!!!!!!

i miss that tight knit neighborhood i grew up in. it was nice having a neighborhood like that!

Well, Fiona doesn't get to go trick or treating (peanut allergy), so I set out a bowl of candy on the porch with the light off so -hopefully- the dog would stop going off on the trick or treaters and freaking out the baby. Yeah, well, the trick or treaters took the candy AND the bowl. :headache: Nice huge Pyrex bowl. The one I use for making cakes.

I have no interest in this holiday anymore. Fiona had fun at her day care with her fall festival, but I'm just not into the kids going door to door. The porch light was OFF and yet parents were urging their kids to knock or ring the doorbell. I called my neighbor to tell her about the bowl missing, and she said the teenagers were hitting the streets without costumes or bags--just holding their hands out! But hey, she'd only been egged once last week, so she was doing better than the previous years!

So, yeah, if you see a teenager wandering around with a huge clear Pyrex bowl because they don't have a bag to carry their loot in, tell them to bring it back to my house. :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: I'm taking this as an opportunity to buy a nice mixing bowl with a sturdy handle to replace the one I just lost on a $10 bag of candy!

Brandie

If you haven't figured it out Twin Princesses is my baby Sister. She is cruising with us with her twins, 10 year old DD and her 15 year old niece. When our sister had a heart attack and died this past september, her daughter decided to live with her aunt at least for the school year.

She is joining us on this cruise because that was the one thing her mom really wanted to do and her health had prevented her from joining us in 2007. It has been a very rough year for our family with two death, our sister and my brother in law. Both which affect my sister. She has been a real trooper and has shown a strenght that not many could meet. Now she is loving and raising not only her two twin princesses but our youngest sister baby princecess. I couldn't be more proud of her or the three girls.

That's enough bragging for now. Got to go to work. But this is my Friday. That is on the books. However, I choose to work on Saturday and Sunday many weekend. It is so easy to get stuff done with no one to bug me and then I don't need to work 10 hour days during the week. Cool. Later Lois

Brandie, That is so irritating! You try to do something nice, and look what happens. Sorry about your bowl. It is wierd that the teenagers are going out for tot anyway. Their parents should be keeping them home or being more sure of where they are.....

I will be on the look out for your bowl!!!

I have not handed out candy for several years. We turn off our porch light and watch tv in the dark. I hate the fact that parents let their teen age kids out on this night unsupervised.

My son was at the store and some kid took some noodles off the shelve and stomped on them and ran off and met his mom. My son had asked him to come back and clean up his mess and this mom went off on my adult son not her son who had just cost us all money because now the store can't sell the product he destroyed. I told him in the future to go get a store employee and not to handle this on his own. I could see some parent attacking him. It is such a shame that parents no longer feel that they are responsible for the actions of thier children. My kids would have gotten it and they would have paid for the product they ruined and you know as far as I know they never did anything like this.

It is the same thing with the bowl and with magnets that might be on the stateroom door that come up missing. Kids that are unsupervised and parents who do not question when new items show up. That is if the kids bring the magnet, bowls and other items home.

That's enough, Lois
