To you door magnet experts: If I print out my magnets on magnetic paper, can I laminate them without losing the magnetism? :confused3

I found the best solution to magnet paper. They are called Share-it Photo magnet pockets. They will hold 4x6 prints. I got them at a local drug store and they are by Printworks. You get three magnet pockets and ten sheets of print paper for $4.99. Check out there site at myprintworks.com.

I can change pictures each day.

Only 23 days untill WDW.

You might give this a try with one first before you laminate all of them. I printed my door signs on Magnet paper for my cruise last year, but did not laminate them. I wonder if the heat would damage the magnet?

What exactly are passport cards? I saw something about it today at Office Depot.

It is basically a passport just for land and sea travel. It is a lot cheaper than a regular passport and the size of a credit card/I.D. You CANNOT fly into another country with the passport card though.

Thanks! That helps!

I wonder how Elliott's_Mommmy is doing? I hope everything is OK with them and their home.

They have laminated plastic that is just sticky, no heat required

The Xyron machine is great for that!

I've been thinking about her all day, too. I went to a friend's for a bbq today, and we ended up watching The Weather Channel for about 30 minutes. I told him about her plans for evacuation as well as Brandie's friends and family. I just hope the rain and flooding won't be horrible.

I was thrilled to hear that it's loosing power (down to a 3 now) yet maintaining it's speed of about 16mph. If it maintains the speed, that means it will get off that ocean sooner, reducing the opportunity for it to build up energy again.

Yum!! Is the original rum cake the best? I was looking at that one, but it has walnuts.. yuck! Looks like you can't get it without.
Tonya

I have an original in my cabinet right now, which I do like. However, if you like pineapple more than walnuts, I suggest the pineapple flavored cake. It's REALLY good, imo! I would also like to try the key lime.

I believe these are one and the same...If I'm not mistaken the forms on-line are the same as your little 'cruise doc' packet that most everyone is getting from the 'man in the brown truck' (ie UPS) or your travel agent...someone (anyone) - correct me if I am wrong. :surfweb:

Thanks:goodvibes

Yes, it's 4:58 AM and I am up making magnets.

Tiffany, hun...run up a deck and a door over and feel free to drop your extras. I have two doors to cover and at the rate I'm going...well.....:lmao:

Which reminds me, I'll just apologize in advance to you and especially Adrienne as she is directly below us. I'll try hard to keep the kids fom jumping kamikaze off the top bunk.....I promise we'll do our best to keep it down. Just smack on the ceiling with something if we get out of hand above ya...:rotfl2:

I checked my email and got a reply back from what we'll call "FE Gift Company"...so the good news is the FE gifts have shipped and they gave me a tracking number. Tha bad news is when I looked it up online it says this:

7:16 AM Delivery exception TAMPA, FL

Damaged, handling per shipper instructions

DAMAGED?????? And I know its bad or else they wouldn't have noted it. I swear if it arrives at my door with <FE gifts> coming out of it, heads will roll....
And this isn't something they can just pop a few more back out to me, they have to be "made"....Grrrr.:headache:

Anyway, Happy labor day to all of ya's in the US.

It loooks like we have to worry about Hanna Now. If Hanna happens to hit Castaway Cay I think the Island would survive, but what about the Flying Dutchman?:scared1:

Just a little something to make your Labor Day Weekend....enjoy

Here are the top nine comments made by NBC sports commentators so far during the Summer Olympics that they would like to take back:

1. Weightlifting commentator: ‘This is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw her snatch this morning during her warm up and it was amazing.’

2. Dressage commentator: ‘This is really a lovely horse and I speak from personal experience since I once mounted her mother.’

3. Paul Hamm, Gymnast: ‘I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and father.’

4. Boxing Analyst: ‘Sure there have been injuries, and even some deaths in boxing, but none of them really that serious.’

5. Softball announcer: ‘If history repeats itself, I should think we can expect the same thing again.’

6. Basketball analyst: ‘He dribbles a lot and the opposition doesn’t like it. In fact you can see it all over their faces.’

7. At the rowing medal ceremony: ‘Ah, isn’t that nice, the wife of the IOC president is hugging the cox of the British crew.’

8. Soccer commentator: ‘Julian Dicks is everywhere. It’s like they’ve got eleven Dicks on the field.’

9. Tennis commentator: ‘One of the reasons Andy is playing so well is that, before the final round, his wife takes out his balls and kisses them... Oh my God, what have I just said?

Thank you for the good laugh this morning!

Oh no! That's never a good sign. I hope the "damage" is just to the box & not the contents!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I saw on some Disney show that CC was protected from hurricanes very well because of the layout of the island? Am I correct there? I'm hoping so :rolleyes1

Charlie--That was hillarious! Were those REALLY comments made? Love it!

First you will be amonig friends. There will be a lot of Dis'ers.
Second liquor makes friends quickly
Third. Last time I recall you can bring spouse. They can just sit there and not partake. Not 100% sure about this but it is Disney so I am sure you can just ask.

The tasting are usually in diversions lounge so it is a pretty comfy environment.
