....Regarding some kind of a map or guide to who is in what room....
So IF enough people are interested in having a deck map with DIS cabins marked or listed, then I think we should devise some way to voluntarily say if we do or don't want our cabin included. Also I have lots of the staterooms on my lanyard list...so once that project starts I would gladly share my spreadsheet that has lots of people already on it.

Also, as I mentioned, I have the master list as well. I'm not sure how far off the list was from what you and Hadley validated through your process.

Brandie is ahead of you all...when I was talking to her this aftenoon, she started a thread on the DDD website under the General Discussion Forum.

Wow...you have all been chatty today! I haven't had time to read through it all yet. Just wanted to give a heads up to those in PA and NJ. If you have a bad storm forecasted, I'll tell you that it is indeed BAD! It started hitting us around midnight, complete with tornado sirens. Lightening was extremely heavy to the point that meteorologists were seeing with their own eyes some rotation high above. So take it seriously please!

I went to bed around 1:00 am, turning off the lights. At 5:00 I woke up to a semi-warm house. I somehow managed to make myself somewhat presentable to go to work, but boy do I have some interesting looking hair today!! When I left around 9:00, we still didn't have power. :-( I always fear the duration of power outages because there was a time that we were out for 6 days!! We're on such a small power grid and so much of the state was severely hit by a storm that we were literallly the last area to get attention.

We were at a John Deere tractor show at the the Clark County Fair Ground outside of Springfield since Wednesday. Talk about storms......

Every afternoon we had black clouds, thunder, lightening, high winds and downpours. One night we had to get up around 3 am and go out in the storm to taken down and close up the canopy on the motorhome. I thought we were going to get blowed away!

Gee, I'm beginning to think a lot of people have me on "ignore"..

DCL is having lots of issues right now...we keep getting the red error message of death on one reservation and can't log in to the other at all. *Shrug* Glad it happened today and not yesterday.

And for those wondering what's left I glanced at Palo before getting locked out. There are several dinner slots each evening on nights 1,5,and 7. No tea, no brunch. Nights 2,3,4,& 6 are full. Sorry I can't check anything else now.

Also I posted a question on the main board but didn't really get the answer I was looking for. If any of you who have been to GC before and have booked an excursion independently please advise: We have read that the Magic is one of the few cruise ships who adjust their clocks to remain on local time at the ports. We have an excursion booked and the operator told us a meeting time and also advised that "THEY" adjust to the ship's time. So basically my question is has anyone ever had a problem with an independent company giving them the incorrect time by mistakenly assuming the ship does not adjust their clocks. Does that make sense????TIA!!

I'm fine with publishing our location. I think I might have already mentioned it on the thread, then again if no one reads my posts then no one knows!

I am obsessed with packing. I had DD try on all her dresses tonight, she looks so adorable! DH is great with clothes, he just needs socks and undies (sorry had to bring it up ) I am getting there, I just got all my capris from LB and I am very happy with them, I need a few more cute shirts and another Bathing Suit!

I cant believe how close we are getting, this is going to be a GREAT cruise for all of us

I have to say I was just looking at another cruisers website found them from a trip report thread or another dis post (i cant remember) anyhow they had a link in there signature so I was nosy. It took them to there website (a geocities site) and they had done this same thing added dis names to the cabin/boat pic to know where other disers were. I thought that was a cool idea. Funny/Ironic!

The video conference went well once it got up. Last time we had no prob. This time the girl in front of us got cut off, the power went out in the building and she only got 10mins. So E called me and said they were trying to get it back up and he would call back once/if it was good to go. So the boys and I went shopping at Walmart (cuz you know there is ALWAYS something you need from there LOL. They snagged some new shorts an shirts that I will hide till school starts and hope they keep nice for a month till the cruise. (haha I just noticed they are like E's so they will all match) I then got a call to head back to the conference room at walmart that they were doing the video con in. We get there just as E comes on to the screen. Perfect we get about 40mins "with" him then it was the next person's turn said our good byes and knew that the next time would be LIVE and in Person!

The next catastrofy (sp?) is P and J were out riding there scooters when all of a sudden the garage door opens and P is screamming for me and I hear J crying.. oh great what now. Apparently J was riding his scooter and BIT his tounge BAD... we had blood everywhere. I couldnt tell if it was all the way through cuz it was gushing. Finally I can see its not horrible.. but still not great. No stiches needed (all I could think of was that one episode of MTV when that dude was singing and some dude bit his tounge off and he needed stiches anyone remember that back in the day... LOL) After laying with me and rocking him, holding a washcloth with ice on it for a while... he was good enough to go back out and shoot water guns LOL So its not tramatic . But im sure when he goes to eat again.. that will be an adventure!

Off to do some all mighty laundry, pack the boys an overnight bag (there going to gma's, well she only lives across the street LMAO, but this way she doesnt have to get up and come over to watch them as I head to work they all get to be lazy bums since its summer break) Then going to try and figure out how to make my f/E.... finally!
