Man tried to get online last night but the Dis was Down LOL

Looks like everyone got.. something. Guess I will be joining lots at Rockn D on Sail day to book brunch.

So anyone want to post the "leftovers" for us 75dayers. What time and day is left for Palo?

Also What are the time frames for the Pirate Excurtion in Grand K, we are planning that one also and would like something NOT to early but still with enough time to do other things after.

Also how does the cabana massages look on Castaway Cay for day 2?

last ALso ( i swear LOL) If i book something, when can I cancle if I deceide we no longer want to do it. (Debating on the spa villa for 2 during one of the sea days)

Thanks alll... off to breakfast with my mom, THEN suprizing the boys taking them to do a video conference with E. The last one before we pick him up in around 30-40days LOL. When I get home I will have a Secret Mickey update!

OK...now i'm confused....so we're going to be in the same dining room two nights in a row? We're not rotating through all three in succession? Anytime we've ever been on the ship(s) we've always started in Lumiere's or Triton's and then done the other two then the sequence just repeats itself continually until the cruise is over. Does it now run that way on this cruise? (I asked my TA what the dining rotations would be...and she is usually very good at getting me the dirt....but she told me the CM she spoke to refused to give her information on dining rotations and said they won't know what our specific rotation is until a few days before the cruise).

So here's my question....we selected Palo for night 4 specifically because we assumed this meant there was no way we'd miss the Animator's Pallete show....but is that not correct? Is there a chance that the two might conflict and that eating in Palo that night would mean we WILL miss the AP show? If so...we like Palo and all...but we'd gladly miss it if we had to so that we coudl experience AP.

Oy....i thought I had it all figured out!!

FinallyBoughtDVC---

I know some have already answered this......but the float rentals and snorkel rentals are for all day long...so you can either stash your floats at a beach chair "home base"...or you could return them when you go get a bike and then just go get another later. In the past Jason and I have returned our floats to eat lunch and then gotten them again. The only thing in the "getaway package" that is supposed to be time sensitive is the bikes....but honestly, they've never even monitored that for Jason and I when we've been there. I don't know if it's becuase we've always been lucky and gone on cruises that weren't super booked or what....but we've always gone and there are a million floats and a million bikes...and they barely even check to see that we've got our prepaid ticket thing...much less tracked how long we used stuff, etc.

That all depends on if they keep the new rotation or not. I don't think there will be any way to know for sure until we see our rotation once we have checked in. Any other information will just be a guess. We booked Palo dinner for Thursday. We should be safe regardless of rotation. Lois

Logged in at 12:00am and was not able to get a thing!!! :scared1: It told me my cruise was not paid for.. Logged out and back in 12:02am and got in with No Red Letters saying not paid.. Unfortunately, I still got Nothing.. No Brunch, No Tea, !!! :guilty: so yet AGAIN.. we will not be doing Palo during the day.. I think I won't even bother trying anymore because all I ever do is get my hopes up and deflated.. :sad1:

This is totally bumming me out.. I really thought I would have a chance this time.. :sad2:

Trust me, I know this one is confusing...:faint: You will either have the Anamators show on the 1st, 2nd OR 3rd night...depending on your rotation. These are the ONLY days the show is scheduled...on the 4th, 5th and so forth - each dining room (AP, LU, PC) will ALL have the same menu and the same theme...ie, Master Chef, Captains Gala, Pirate Night, etc. I believe the 4th night is usually Master Chef, followed by Pirate Night on the 5th day and so on...so you might just miss this one 'special' dinner. IMHO - I would not worry about missing Master Chef dinner, nothing too special here.:rolleyes1
Hope this helps!:thumbsup2

It does...thank you...that's what we thought. Actually we don't really care about the "menus" as much as the dining experience(s)....that's why we hate missing the AP show and the theme nights....the master chef thing is not that interesting to us anyway....so let's hope you're right and that's what we miss by hitting Palo on Night #4! :goodvibes

You are not bumming alone. Why don't you join me at Rockin Bar D in one last ditched effort to get a brunch booked? How many seat do you need? When do you plan to be at the port? I only need 3 so may be we can work it out together. Lois

OK gang let me let you in on a dirty little secret about Palo and excursions. I know many of you just booked at the 90 day CC mark, however at 75 day mark additional slots will become available for the new paid in full bookings! Do not lose hope as there is still a chance that you will get what you are looking for-again one must be quick with the mouse to get them.

Hope this helps.

Also wanted to share some information about our group. With the final payment deadline looming one (Jean) from our group has made the tough choice to cancel. Her and ehr husband are small business owners and as we all know times are tough for many right now. So we have shuffled rooms and went from 3 staterooms down to 2. We all now have stateroom numbers and are located near eachother. We are Deck 6 aft.

Not sure if others DISers are around us or not-do we have a deck plan that shows where each DIS person is staying?

Thanks for listening.

Dan

I got dinner but no brunch or tea. Want to schedule at meet at Rockin Bar D so we can all try once again to get our hearts desire? I know that's where I will be going. I have cruised 5 times and have yet to try brunch and really want to do that this time.

I am sure if I do not get it for the double Dip that I should be able to get it for the next cruise. So I am not going to let it concern me too much. I am going to try to move Palo to an earlier time as well. Over all it went well. Who can I plan on seeing when you get on board trying for Brunch and tea ressies?

Hi Lois, Denise and I will be there too trying to get brunch ressies!

That would be kind of cool to know where everyone is, is there a blank templet we could work on?

I would gladly volunteer for this job. You have all been so wonderful to me, I'd love to reciprocate. It would certainly help at F/E and Secret Mickey time.

We will also be trying to get brunch reservations when we board. Is it at 1 PM that you can do that?

Thanks for the tip, dan and scott. We will check in 15 days!:thumbsup2

I was going to head there as soon as we board ship, however, we have a party of 12.. 9 Adults for Palo.. so who know what time we will all be ready to go.. I know DH likes to try and get to the port early so hopefully I will bug him enough, that he will want to go extra early.. ;)

Thanks :goodvibes

Sorry, not to be a downer.. but in December we tried again at the 75 day mark and we were told nothing was available at all.. Not even dinner.. I do know they hold reservations for anyone in Cat 3 and above..

Hey! Did this happen to anyone else? I tried to login to book Palo, and I got an error message saying that I had to wait until the 75 day mark. We are CC members so I knew that it should have been the 90 day mark. I called at 9 this morning when customer service opened, and the rep fixed it. She said that it must have been a "computer glitch" because our TA had entered our Castaway Club info. She said that this happens sometimes if the TA enters the info directly into Disney's system rather than calling and having Disney do it and that she was going to send the problem along to her supervisor. So, of course, there was no brunch or tea available by the time I was able to log in at around 9:05 this morning. I am so disappointed, but I guess I will wear my running shoes when we board and make a beeline for Rockin D's when we board. We so wanted to have brunch.

I will be trying Really Hard to get a reservation for a Party of 5 women for High Tea once on the ship.. I think we are going to forget about Brunch.. Since there is not much hope to get it for 9 adults.. :sad2:

Lois:

I'm in for the attempting to get Tea mission. I'll leave the little ones with big sister and rush to Rockin D's. It'll only be one of me, so--

I did see that there was brunch and Tea available at 12:01, but when I put in for 1-2 people I got the things have changed and there's not availability for your time or number of people. So I added mother and father in law, thinking maybe they only had 3 and 4 tops available, and I could just replace them with someone else since they don't want to go. No luck.

I think I mentioned the time we got Tea, one member of our Dis group was the first non-concierge guest to board, and she just got everyone's room number as we were in line and got us in. But this was back in the day when they didn't do advance reservations for anyone but suites and REAS.

Fasting is over, I can eat meat, and I swear, I'm thinking much more clearly.

Happened to us on our last cruise. By the time we straightened it out, we could only get dinner.
