Favorite movie-hmmmmmm for me it has to be Lilo and Stitch as I dates the co-director of the movie! He has since left the company and formed a new company with the other co-director of the film.

SHUT UP!!!

How cool is that!

Okay favorite Disney Animated Film:

Jen: This is tough, cause I really like the ones that came out when I was little......The Fox & The Hound, The Rescuers, but I guess I have to go with Lady & The Tramp.

Ron: Not too big on the animated movies, but he likes the Pixar ones, Toy Story I & II probably most. He said if he had to answer he'd say POTC. Sigh.

Brendan: Love, love, loved Peter Pan when he was little....but now also prefers the "new" classics. He recently enjoyed Meet the Robinson's ...but for his all time fave I'd have to go with Monsters Inc.

Savannah: Easy. Aristocats. She has a cat thing.:confused3

Yes Kimberly you remembered correctly there is one other baby on this cruise that is going to be about the same age....But I forgot who that was. I do remember it was the dad that posted. But that's all I know.

And, yep one more week down. Got a shocker at the DR office yesterday, things are greatly improved! The amniotic fluid level is down (it was really high), and the doppler studies show improved blood flow. Kindof strange cause this is a progressive disease and it is not expected to actually see improvement, a plateau maybe but she actually got a bit *better!* We're delighted. Back for another check next week, but for now, all news is good news! :dance3:

Dan, I completely missed your comment about dating the co-director of Lilo & Stitch until I saw it pointed out in Jen's posting. That's a cool bit of trivia about yourself!

IMPROVED?!!!! :woohoo: That's SOOO awesome!!

I remembered it was the dad who posted that as well. I was thinking it was Jeff (Epperbiker), but I looked at our handy-dandy cast roll call list, and I didn't see I noted it there. I do, however, have jgillfamilymtarymd (Jim), marked down to have a 4 month old, but I haven't seen him around for a long time. So they should be ready to see their new bundle pretty soon!

Myself: A Bugs Life and Finding Nemo

DH: Toy Story series

DD: Little Mermaid and Ratatouille

DS: Monsters Inc. and Cars :sulley:

Still hoping to get more answers to my previous post about travel docs. Thanks. :flower3:

What's your reasoning for carrying more than your passport and driver's license (which would allow you to drive a car and get back in the port if you're returning a rental car) with you?

Your passport trumps your Social Security card, birth certificate, etc. I could rationalize taking extra passport-sized pictures and a Xerox of the first page of your passport (which would make it easier to replace your passport at the embassy if needed), but beyond that, I think you're just setting yourself up for one heck of a case of identity theft. More than likely, if you lost your passport, you'd also lose the other papers at the same time.

Hope that helps!

Agreed....Jason and I travel only with our passport and our driver's licenses. We don't bring our birth certificates or social security cards...they aren't really necessary. If you are military then I might suggest bringing your military ID with you since there may be instances throughout travel where there are military discounts (like to buy tickets or something at hte parks).

Okay, thanks for the passport answers. We have never traveled out of the country using a passport, so I had no idea what is required.

Erik, I cant wait to see all ties that you and Jason will sport. How fun! Im looking for ties for the boys and E now... somewhat the same theme.

Jen so glad to hear about the progress of you and baby.

Favorite movies now...

Mine is Cinderella what can I say Im a sucker for the chick flicks LOL

E's is Toy Story (only because Sarge's voice is that of R Lee Ermy former marine and was in other military movies Full Metal Jacket being the most known LOL)

P & J both state Cars is theres.

Favorite Disney animated movies:

Me: Little Mermaid
DH: Incredibles
DS: Toy Story II
DD: The Aristocats

You can scan your first page and email it to yourself, but I honestly would discourage that. Just make a Xerox of the first page so you get the passport number and pertinent information and throw that in your safe for the duration of the cruise.

Also, another reason to take a driver's license is to get back on the boat without taking your passport. You need your Key to the World card and a photo ID. I half believe you should carry your passport with you at all times when you are overseas, but you need to carry it somewhere very safe. So if you are going on a snorkling excursion... Where do you put it ON YOU that is safe and still comfortable? I'm not wild about the little waterproof safes, because the straps look uncomfortable and I don't know if they fit passports.

Anyway, there's my 2 bucks, on sale for 2 cents. :)

Hey Kimberly! Our DS Cameron will be 4 next month (and this will be his 4th Disney Cruise!! - the little guy's gonna think he's entitled to a yearly cruise  )

We have too many favorites movies to pick, but Cam seems to like Lady and the Tramp best this week.

We were told never to travel with military ID out of the country unless you're traveling for military reasons. In the US, we only take it if we know we're going to need it.

Again-we've only ever taken our passports and a xerox the first page except when we went to Kazakhstan and were told we'd need an apostilled copy since we had to turn over our passports to the adoption facilitators (who were so crooked I'm surprised our identities haven't been stolen) and we'd need "official copies" in case we were stopped by police.

So, as I mentioned before, I have gone a little crazy buying things at Disney online stores. Well, now I have duplicates of a couple of things and wanted to see if anyone was interested. I bought 2 pirates of the caribbean women's jean skirts, one is shorter and one is longer. I have decided to keep the shorter one for pirate night and now need to get rid of the longer one. It is a women's size 8. I would love to pass on the great deal I got to anyone who is interested. I also ended up with 2, light grey, boys sweater vests, with a very small mickey on it. The size Small ended up being too big for my son, so I ordered him an XS. It is very cute and my son will be wearing his on semi-formal night with a white polo under it. Got a great deal on this as well. They are both NWT and I just thought I would ask all of you first before I try craigslist or just consign them. Here is a pic of the skirt off the Disney store site. There is also a pic of what the sweater vest looks like.

I have spent so much money at that website, I could have had my whole cruise paid off by now :rolleyes1

Really? that's odd...I'm an Air Force brat..my dad is retired USAF and my brother is active duty now and neither of them ever goes anywhere ever without their ID's. In fact my mother is known for forgetting her driver's license all the time but she is NEVER without her military ID! :lmao:

Arin, your DS is going to be too handsome in that sweater! I can already picture the little man!

Soooo......I say Sarah calls at T-105 and books her Paloa reservations for her and her bestest friends!!! Although, I like Dan's idea. Afterall, we DO need a party room replacement for Stateroom 6080 now Tammie isn't traveling with us! haha

Hey Kimberly! Our DS Cameron will be 4 next month (and this will be his 4th Disney Cruise!! - the little guy's gonna think he's entitled to a yearly cruise  )....

Well yeah, dad! Of course he does.

It might be a Navy thing, but he was told definitely not to take it out of the country (of course we were going to China and Kazakhstan- the potential of compromise in both country is high, the potential of identity theft in Kazakhstan is beyond high).

It could also be because of his security clearance/job, or it could be that we look really stupid and they're afraid we'd lose our id's. :lmao: I do carry mine all the time around here, with my driver's license in case I get pulled over I can hand the cop the military id "by accident".

Come to think of it, it's probably because he's a reservist, so maybe the rules are different for them- don't go pretending you're "real" military.

Julie

Erica- a big Palo tea. Book a tea!

Julie
Maybe you got our upgrade, since we're now in a guarantee cat 6. Dd is hoping they'll upgrade us to a suite.

Arin- PM me if you still have the skirt available.. If I keep my diet up I SHOULD be able to fit into it by cruise time LOL Or at least it will end up my motovation.

Erik- We too never travel without our military ID's, and E and I are like your mom, I usually show my id before my drivers licence and people in town are always wonder what the heck it is. lol :confused3 which is weird since its a Military town. Ya think they would be used to it.

Erika- Im with everyone else.. just roll with it.:rolleyes1 If they say something say oh I though I was given an upgrade. LOL

Also Thought I would put an update and what I have so far for the Fish Extender/ Secret Mickey stuff I have been putting together
As of today I have 13 cabins participating in F/E Fun
and 6 for secret Mickeys

Again if anyone wants to sign up please feel free to email anewmac@gmail.com or PM, your info to me, (see post 6 for more info on the logistics of it all) any questions please feel free to ask away! :thumbsup2
