So fellow Buckeyes-what air fare deals have you found? We like to travel out of Columbus, but will go to Dayton or Cleveland for good deals.

Southwest opened up flights for Sept and October just this past Friday. From Columbus, I paid $548 for all three of us. I would have paid $633, however Born2Cruz was the first to post on here that there was a discount code of "Ding15" that gave a 15% discount!!

I've been watching fares since November, and they started out at $338/person. They went down in early February and have pretty much have maintained at $276/person. So I was *thrilled* with a total of $548!

Scrappinjen is from Dayton, so she may be able to speak to Rickenbacker. Paul2003 will probably give some feedback on flights from Cleveland (I'm only giving their locations out because they've made it public knowledge, btw). There are 3 other families from Ohio, but with the exception of one, who is in the Columbus area, I don't know where they call home. So I'm sure you'll get some more feedback.

Kimberly and anyone else who posted about the Gorillapods, I just purchased a pink one with the 15% off code that Kimberly posted!

I can't wait to try it out in Hawaii!

Although after I purchased it I got to thinking that Doug may not want to take pictures with a pink camera? We'll just have to see how he reacts the first time he sees it (That time will most likely be after I return from my trip).

Ok perhaps it is close enough to the sailing to throw our hats into the ring!

This will be our 17th Disney Cruise and looking forward to seeing the Magic come out of drydock renewed!

We hail from the BUCKEYE state-GO BUCKS!
We have 4 other people cruising with us (2 additional staterooms)
Staying at BWV before the cruise to get some park time in before the sailing.

Not sure what else to say, but looking forward to meeting everyone onbaord.

WOW!!!!! 17 cruises with Disney, this will only be my 5th.
I've asked this question before, but do you have any hidden Mickey secrets on what they are doing to the Magic during dry dock?

I think it was sometime in the last year that the opening of the booking windows changed from midnight Pacific time to midnight Eastern. So, bookings now open up at midnight EDT. Personally, I think that's much easier than getting up at 4 am!!

Update on dh: He leaves in six days, which is Easter for us. Still no idea where he's going, even while he's still here in the US training, except very vaguely. It's making me nuts.

Welcome to the new posters

Congrats to all of you that found such great deals on your airline tickets!
We used airline mile to book our flights like 6 months ago. We are taking the red-eye from PDX on the evening of the 24th and will arrive at MCO at 7:30 a.m. for our 2 day pre-cruise stay at Ron Jon Resort.

I keep "accidentally" going to Disneyshopping.com and spending a lot of money on all kinds of cute stuff for the kids and a few things for myself and the husband. I have our embarkation day outfits all picked out, (they aren't matching, but all disney themed) My DH thinks i'm crazy Hey, I have to do something to pass the time until the cruise
