Soooo......I say Sarah calls at T-105 and books her Paloa reservations for her and her bestest friends!!! Although, I like Dan's idea. Afterall, we DO need a party room replacement for Stateroom 6080 now Tammie isn't traveling with us! haha

Ya I can take over the party room *smiling* as long as Erica promises not to let my travelling companion read these boards!

Here's hoping we somehow scored some kinda magic in being able to book in 105 days!

Hi - I forgot to welcome Dan and Scott the last time I posted! :wave2:

Kimberly and anyone else who posted about the Gorillapods, I just purchased a pink one with the 15% off code that Kimberly posted! :thanks:

I can't wait to try it out in Hawaii!

Welcome Dan and Scott.

Hey, I just bought a Gorillapod too! That was fast. I just ordered it and it was here in a couple of days. Tiffany, where in Hawaii are you going? We are going in Oct. to Maui.

Oh and I know some of you were talking about Airtran. I just got a deal sent to me. I'm not sure if it's the same one you guys were talking about. Here is the info.

UPDATE (9:00 PM CT 4/23/08): AirTran just released even better pricing for nonstop travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through June 11. You must book by Friday (4/25). Travel good through Nov. 12th. There are some deals $69-$99.

It's a girl!!! I now have a new grandchild. My daughter gave birth last night. It is a little girl which is what we expected. Her name will be Haley. Now on with planning her first DCL/WDW vacation once she is a little older. Lois

Grandma4ever: :cheer2: :grouphug: :cool1: :dance3: Congratulations!!!! :wizard: :thumbsup2

zweihund: Somehow I have the feeling the computer will know... Did you book the REAS package, maybe?

Re: the military ID: Back when all the planes were getting hijacked, it was a bad thing to have your military ID on you. Think maybe that's where the philosophy of not carrying around military ID when unneeded came from?

Thanks everyone. I still have not seen her. I am holding off until mom gets home from the hospital. I will try to post a picture of her sometime next week. We are planning to take her to WDW and maybe a cruise in 2014 or so. Planning is most of the fun. Lois

I'm anxious to see Haley!

We booked our airfare for the way down. Oldest ds asked what would happen if we couldn't afford to book to come back up, and I told him I guess we'd have to stay on the ship permanently.

Still trying to decide what time to leave to come up. Has anyone every flown out around one? We're going to be using a van service to take us from the port, and have no idea how long it'll take to drive. When dh drives from the port to Disney World, it goes by quick.

One o'clock is fine. Everyone has to be off the ship by 9AM. You should time your pick-up so that you are at the airport to check-in by 11AM for a 1PM flight. Saturday is a busy travel day at MCO..

We are flying out at 1:15 when we fly home on 10/11. We are taking DCL transport to the airport. It is only about a 1 hour drive so you won't have an issue. DCL wants everyone off by, I think, 9 AM so unless there is a major issue it should be a breeze. Lois

We did not. Lionel thinks it's just an informative blurb, as in "if you happen to be concierge, but you aren't, you poor pitiful little thing.....but if you WERE...." :rotfl2:

Still, I might try at 105 days. Just to see.

Congrats Lois!

And count Lionel and I in for FE's :thumbsup2

Thanks for the advice on flight timing. We're usually off right after breakfast, because we're either driving back to Philadelphia, or we're heading for a few days at Disney. And dh drives like a fiend, so I have no idea how long it takes a speed limit abiding, normal person to drive the distance.

We haven't flown out of Orlando since 1997, so I'm going to be clueless in the airport. Is it any better to travel Sunday, because if I had to, we could put up with the hardship of staying a day or so more.

Any suggestions on town car/ van services? I hate to drive, so I'm not renting a car.

Awwww! Congrats Lois!!!! I can't wait to see a pic of her!!! How big was she? (I get right down to the important stuff, lol!) The way last night went I thought I might be announcing the same today, I was having contractions, fairly painful ones every 3 min for about an hour and half....then...they went away.:confused3 Practice makes perfect right? :rotfl2:

Wow, someone famous on board! :flower3:

Also, Sarah (silversae) and I got these messages on the Dreams Unlimited site this morning:

Welcome Erica
Your reservation has been assigned to our reservations team.
Your Vacation begins in 156 Days

As a concierge level guest you are eligible to take advantage of Disney Cruise Line’s innovative pre-arrival planning service. You will have access to a Disney Cruise Line Concierge Services Specialists who will help you in planning every cruise detail before setting sail.

You may contact a dedicated Concierge Services Specialist 105 days prior to their sail date to begin planning your vacation. Specialists are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and can be reached by calling toll free 866-784-1654 or email.

Err...neither of us are concierge level, and we both still have category 6 rooms listed on our reservations, so.....??? Anyone else ever had anything like this before?

That's interesting but it may just be a new thing Dreams is doing. When we had some questions and had to iron out a few details of our ressie they told us the same thing, contact the "concierge team". (We are not "concierge level either") Did you just recently switch over to DU? I say go for it, that would be great if you get to make your ressies at 105, and even better if you got a suprise bump up!!:thumbsup2

CONGRATULATIONS:woohoo: :woohoo: Hope to see some pictures!!!!

Ok, since this question of when we get off the boat has come up recently..........what time should we reserve our rental car for? Is 8AM too early or late? or would we be better off with 8:30 or 9?

Thanks for the info!
