Thanks Kimberly. I thought I saw a database somewhere, but didn't remember. See, I'm already losing my mind and dh isn't gone yet. By the time the cruise comes around, I'll be walking around muttering to myself.

Still spaces open for Palo brunch.

Julie

Thanks Paul. I will take your suggestions and make reservations the first night you can (haven't figured that out yet, but my TA will probably tell me. Before I make the reseravtions, I need to figure out what happens on each night of the cruise. I don't want to miss Pirate night dinner with my kids. My wife wouldn't want to miss the formal night with the kids... So I guess once I figure out how to determine what happens on each night of the cruise, I will be in a much better position to decide what night would work for my wife and I to do Palo alone.

That's the problem...they've been changing up the nights, and menu's on the Western's. We don't know for sure if they will only use the new ones for the Riviera cruises or if they will stay that way afterwards. I'm not sure if Formal night is the same night as it has always been...Pirate Nights is Weds, which is our Cozumel day, right? Or is it Thurs?
Stressful.:sad2:

Anyone happen to know offhand?

There are now just 2 days left to get your lanyard info to Hadley!!!

For full details on the lanyard check my other post above OR check the main information post on this thread (I think it's post #6 and/or the link is in Kimberly's (Buckeye) signature!!)

As Erik just posted, there are only two days left to get your information in to receive lanyards! I have heard from most of the regular posters (and a few others) but am still missing information from a number of people who originally registered with Kimberly as comming on this cruise. Some of these people may have decided not to cruise with us, but others simply may not be checking the thread or their PMs. Maybe you know one of the following posters in REAL LIFE and can email or call them and let them know information is due BY APRIL 1st (see post 6 for how to do this). Below is a list of posters I have NOT received information from as of now:

EVEN IF you do NOT want a lanyard, PLEASE let Hadley know!!

I know there are several families who have not responded to her emails and PMs, and it would cut down on her time if she knew to no longer inquire with you. She's really not trying to be a nuisance, rather she’s trying her best to ensure you don’t get left out. :-)

Doug,
Go to (Disneycruiseline.com). There you'll find all the info you'll want to about Disney Cruise Line. You will need to "register or sign up" to pull up your reservation. Once you are registered (and it's easy to do even I figered it out) you can pull up your personal info.(stateroom no., sail date etc.). This is where you sign up for your excursion and Palo.

Paul

Thanks Hadley and Erik for all of your hard work on the lanyards it is appreciated!!!:cool1: :worship: :goodvibes :woohoo: :yay: :cheer2:

So question here the things we can book ahead are like Excursions, Palo, selected Spa things, etc. I was wondering how do things like the Martini tastings work...do you sign up for those in advance some way or do you just show up?

Ok is the time off on the dis or is my computer time off?

As far as I know you would sign up for Martini tasting on board, just like you would for the ships tour (which is worth doing).

Ok is the time off on the dis or is my computer time off?

It's definitely the DISboard server time being off. Slowly it gets farther and farther from the real time.

So you'll be able to see how far off it is today, I am posting this message in the "real time" of 8:25 pm EDT.

Dis was down last night for updates, late.. Probably why the time is off..

Real time 9:27pm EST

Dis Boards time 9:14pm

Thanks again Paul. I am a frequent visitor to the Diney Cruise Line site. Although it gives our itinarary so you know where the ship will be each day. Unfortunately, you can't look at the excursions for our cruise yet and it doesn't give any information about which night is pirate night or formal night... I am going to ask my TA when we get a month or so from being able to book things. As a repeat crusier, I can book 90 days out. So near the end of June, I will ask her for her best information about what is happening on which nights.

Hi everyone!

So much to catch up on! I was about 5 pages behind from a couple of days ago. We are driving down from NC, so we don't need transfers, but today we started talking about flying instead. We are just not sure what would be easier and with gas prices what they are and if the plane ticket prices are good, we might just change our plans. :confused3

If we sign up to join the Palo Brunch does that mean we can not sign up online for a dinner? If we can only sign up for one meal - we are going to have to go for the dinner and hope to get the brunch after we board. We would really like to join the group Brunch though. There would be 3 of us.

It's getting late and I can't think of anything else that I wanted to comment on.

Ohhhh! Today is 180 days and I can make my ADR for Dinner Pre-Cruise!!! We are going to try to eat at Boma's early and then head for MNSSHP (Must have Zebra Domes!).

Have a good evening everyone!

Tiffany

Pirate Night, Formal Night, Semi Formal Night.. won't be posted on the DCL Website.. It never is.. Best Bet may be to wait and see what other Dis'ers say their rotation was on Prior sailing.. :confused3

We've reached Lucky Number 13 for brunch, and we have enough to get the room, and space for one more. I plan to fax the request to DVC today- though with homeschooling 4 kids, packing to go to WDW on Friday, and getting dh's gear and paperwork for his deployment together, who knows. Plus, I've never faxed anything from home since we got our DSL, and the computer hates me.

A couple points:

You can book a back up brunch or an additional brunch on the other sea day. Since no one seemed to have a preference, I'm going to request the first sea day because we won't be tired of eating so early in the cruise.

DCL reviews applications for the room at 30 days prior to sailing. Being completely anal compulsive, this makes me nuts, but oh well. I'll fax them again 31 days out with a follow up.

We can't book High Tea, because they don't do that.

Thanks for the quick responses with all the information I needed.
Julie

People have said they determine rotation based on who's in your sailing party. With a mix of little kids, bigger kids, grownups, and grandparents, we've had the same rotation each cruise: Parrot Cay, Lumiere's Animator's Palate. Some people say they determine rotation based on your party's make up, but I'm not sure.

When we did the double dip with Costa Maya a few years ago Pirate Night was the night we left Cozumel. Formal Night was the first day at sea, and Semi-Formal the second. I don't know if they've changed since then, but I think they always had some sort of sail away/ deck party when leaving Cozumel.

Don't know if that will help anyone's planning.

Julie

Does anyone know if you can Reserve the Back Room of Palo for Dinner? We would have a total of 11 adults.. :confused3
