Dooney & bourke disney collaboration

The original designs had DOONEY AND BOURKE written in a Yellow scroll on the print. Disney decided after the bags had been produced and distributed that they didnt want D&B logo on them. So the bags were all called and the D&B logo was attached to the bag instead of in the logo.

Some stores have both of the designs right now(subject to change). The original ones and the old ones.As soon as the old one's are sold. Pretty much thats it. They will not make the one with D&B on the design just the New ones.

Here is a camera in the wristlet. The camera is a Canon 1100SD. There is more than enough space.

Thats odd, bc I much prefer the 'first run' as opposed to the 'second run' the first one seems to flow so much nicer and the Dooney part doesn't stick out, ya know??

This kind of makes me feel special since I have original white bag Now I kind of feel like it is a limited edition item (that kinda helps me not want to buy the new one with minnie even though I am itching to do so!!! )

I ordered the wristlet on Monday. I was not asked which version I wanted. I remember the price with shipping was 54.95 so I am guessing I got version 1. I like the tage on the bag and the back pocket but I think that is on version 2. I wish they would have asked me which one I preferred.. Also, does anyone know the price of the barrel bag? Does it only come in black? One more question, is the merchandise hotline open on Saturday?

By ordering the barrel bag thru Disney the price is $180.00 for the bag and $29.95 for the shipping. That totals $209.95. I was able to find a buy it now on ebay for $189.90 with FREE shipping. I had placed a back order thru Disney and promptly cancelled it when I found this listing. Added bonus, it will be here on Tuesday, January 5!!!! I saved $20 bucks and get it in less than a week!

PS: I just checked that seller on ebay and they currently don't have any barrel bags. If you want the sellers name/store PM me! I think they live near Disney and get these bags frequently! It maybe worth it to keep checking!

Hopefully it means the CM just didn't know what was going on. I'm curious to see what the rumored brown ones and the crossbody bag will look like, so I hope they don't stop selling them!

the one thing i don't like about the second run is the dooney label which obstructs the pattern. i love that they added minnie, but this label works against the pictures, whereas the yellow banner was part of the pattern. anyway, i do love all the bags and love reading the updates here. i would never have known about these beauties without this thread. thanks to all who have posted photos and news!

There is quite a bit of room, even with the camera. You could easily fit an extra battery or memory card, or other things like credit card, park ticket, money, etc.

One thing about E-bay sellers is that they dont have a 90 return policy, if for some reason the handle falls apart.They may be cheaper in the long run but what happens when it gets damaged on the way to your house

i wonder if the dooney one year (i think ) warranty applies in those cases? i mean, not if it gets damaged in transit but if there is a quality issue? anyone?

LOL...That's EXACTLY why I won't buy a used car, but a purse doesn't seem to carry the same risk in my mind!!!!

I've been using my purse (original white sketch) since Christmas Day and this was the first time it got noticed. Little bummed about that, but her reaction made it worthwhile. I got a little protective of my bag.....

I did have someone today at costco scoping it out...that made me feel a little bit better. I can't wait for someone to notice and say somthing. I figured being in AZ that there are not too many of these around yet

I had the lady at the Disney store notice mine the day after Christmas....she said there had already been one person in their store in Tigard, OR, that had one as well.

I think it is pretty cool that some of us got the first run of these purses and that they are not going to make that pattern anymore. Maybe I don't need Minnie after all.

i agree! thank you hallowishes! i have been holding off using mine, thinking winter, but i am putting my stuff in right now. so glad we all found out about these. i have some more serious bags, but no way are they this much fun. makes me think of being there..... we need a castle icon!

Hi, from Phoenix!

I have been using my tote since early November and had one person tell me they liked my purse in passing. I was kind of disappointed too that no one else had said anything. Then last week I had two different women in the same day raving about it. Both wanted to know how to get it. That made me feel much better.
