Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 3

Mouse Gears was one of the many stores I checked but at least the end of April, they didn't have any and when I asked several CM's they said they didn't have them and didn't know if or when they would be in : I even had a picture of the bucket bag style with placement I liked to show them

That's just AWFUL that you went all the way down there & weren't able to get the bucket bag.
Well, I just hope when I FINALLY get down there in November that they'll be in by then ........ guess I'll just have to wait & see.

I am only going to be at the world for 4 days and most of those are tied up with family celebrating two graduations, I am trying to plan some time to look for a bag.

I know I will be at EPCOT mostly, and DTD some. We are staying at the boardwalk. Can someone recommend places to shop for the 40th anniversary bag?

Mousegears at Epcot has Dooneys, but the selection was pretty limited when I was there last week.

If you get some time at DTD your best bet is to go to World of Disney. TrendD also carries the bags.

At all three of those locations the bags are behind the counters so hopefully you will get some helpful CM's that don't mind taking some time to let you look through the bags.

Thanks for all the pics Mary I agree that Uptown Jewelers usually has a good selection of disney dooneys. I also like the fact that you don't have to ask a CM to please bring them down from a display, which is the case at WOD and Tren-D. If you buy a purse at Tren-D (for example) and you find one that you like even more at WOD, you can exchange it there. No need to go back to the original store where you bought it. Just make sure to keep your receipt.

Also, wondering if that strap is replaceable thru Dooney?

I just had such bad luck with my sketch handles. They are literally black.

I wanted a 40th bucket, but given it is more expensive and harder to find I'm wondering if I should lean toward a messenger...

I believe the WDW 40th came out in the same styles as the DL55 (other than the wristlets being different)

I don't have the med sketch, but have the wonder tote which I believe is slightly larger. I snapped a pic of it with some other smaller pieces, maybe this will give you an idea of size:

The messenger seems roomier than it looks inside, at least to me!
