So it is an online credit like they do for price adjustments?? Congratulations on getting it :banana: I got the generic e-mail reply of "we will look into it and get back to you" when I wrote about my missing medallion so I think I will call like you did :thumbsup2 I would prefer a Disney gift card more as it could be used at Disney World but I will take the credit as opposed to nothing :lmao:

It is an online credit to use for at disneystore.com. I purchase lots of stuff from there so I am fine with that. At least they did...something. Have not heard back from Dooney. I will give them until Monday and call my contact. With this time of year....its going to be difficult to get a quick response from anyone.
 
Crazy how uncoordinated they are. I talked to a Supervisor today. She finally issued the return label for one order and called me back re: medallions to say they are still waiting to hear from the "vendor" and will call me when they know.
 

I received my mini Margot (sp) I didn't have the heart tag, and I called Disneystore.com and ask about it and was told that they didn't come with the tags. So, I'll be reading to find out what happens!
 
disney777, thank you for the TR of the sale. Sounds like there were a ton of people there. Did you hear what time the first few people in line got there?

Not sure, since I was so far back!!! I was still in line when some people were leaving with their purchases. So I know they were there before 5am. I would guess at least 4:30, probably 4:00. I was person 9xx in the line. Luckily for us the weather is pretty good in CA.
 
My Black Balloon Satchel, White Mini Margot and 2 cosmetic bags came today. I love all of them!

I emailed Disney about the medallions and here is the reply.....(minus the normal canned reply verbiage)

"I have sent an internal email to our distribution center and will notify you when I have a response.
You are not unique in this situation, there is an ongoing investigation for the medallions."


We will see what happens next...popcorn::

So I sent my purse in to see if they could fix the inside pouch and I just got a letter today that they can fix it, YAY!! I'll have my Disney purse back in 2-4 weeks <3 :D!


Did you send it to Dooney to be fixed?
I have a small one with the mickey faces with a broken strap. If you sent yours to Dooney - I'll do that and see if they will fix it.

Sadly, this is typical Disney. A few of us have written to Disney and posted their reply. Not one was the same answer. It really is ridiculous. Either we are getting the medallion or not. Either it is being looked into or not. One answer would be stupendous on their part. OK, I'm done just a bit disgusted by the whole process. :confused:
 
I am finally getting my first Mickey Dooney!
I ordered the black one with multi-colored Mickey's
I am so excited! I drool over these every times we are there!

I just sent a reply to DisneyStore.com to the response that I got about the medallions which was: "Upon reviewing your concern, I have sent an internal email to advise of your concern. As soon as I receive a response back from them, concerning the Dooney and Bourke Heart Medallion, I will notify you via email as quickly as possible. If this does not resolve your concern or if you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at (800) 328-0368." :confused3 It seems like everyone is getting a totally different answer :scared1: I will let you know what I hear back but please don't hold your breath :rolleyes1 I do feel sorry for all the people who are buying these gorgeous bags and don't realize something is amiss because they are not part of the vast knowledge base found on this thread :grouphug:

Too funny!!:lmao: I wish they would get the D&B police involved...or the Disney police...maybe there needs to be a real investigation so we can get a real answer instead of a different one for everyone who asks about the missing medallions! Maybe the Disney Villains took them!
Honestly...I am less than excited about my 2 balloon bags I ordered. I just received the pouchette and it is much smaller than I thought it would be. I didn't pay any attention to the dimensions when I ordered (so my fault for not looking), but I have the pouchette with Mickey faces all over it...and I guess I thought it would be the same size...the balloon bag is much smaller...I think it's a little longer, but it's shorter and not as deep. Add the small size to the missing medallion and I am just a little disappointed in my pouchette and margot bags. But...I guess if I really want to I can take the medallions off my other bags and put them on these when I use them. It's silly...but they just seem naked or like they are missing something without them.
 
NEW CRUISE LINE TOTE!!!!

Still in port, but in the window of the store is a new style bag, looks like a weekend/overnight bag. Very large with two handles.
