don't the Epcot->MK, MGM->MK, and AK->MK buses only bring you as far as TTC?

it's been a while since i've park hopped to MK using Disney's bus system.
but on another board i saw someone giving another DISer advice on how if they wanted to go from MGM to MK, they could just exit MGM, and wait at the bus stop for the MK bus, which would drop them off right at the front entrance to MK.

i know that buses going to MK from Disney onsite resorts DO drop off directly at MK's front gate.
but from what i recall, i thought if you took a bus from another park, they only drive you as far as the TTC, where you are forced to get off and take either the Monorail or Ferry to actually get to MK's gates?

can anyone please verify this. thanks!

This is true. All RESORT buses are at the MK itself, but all Park-to-Park transportation is at the TTC.

Tyler is right (well, he should know). We jumped from Studios to MK and got dropped at the TTC.

Okay, what is the TTC? We are staying on property for the first time and need to know this lingo .. so we can at least look like we know what we are talking about

The Ticket and Transportation Center is by the outer entry gates of the Magic Kingdom. Terminals for the MK Ferry, local Monorail Hotel loop, MK Monorail loop and Epcot Monorail are there. Also transportation to Ft Wilderness, WL and SOG (when the building there is done) by bus.

So if I wanted to go from MK to MGM, I'd head to the TTC and catch a bus to MGM there?

What if I was going to breakfast at Epcot and then spending the day at AK? Do I just get on the monorail to TTC and then a bus to AK?

beattyfamily, yes to your first question.

if you're going from Epcot to AK, then you don't have to go to TTC.
the TTC only comes into play when you have to go to/from the MK.

so Epcot to AK, just exit and go to the bus stop that's labeled AK.
it will take you directly to AK.
