and, just some fun stuff....has anybody been to $5 below lately? we haven't been in quite some time, and were pleasantly surprised with the Disney jackpot there! I didn't get a picture, but they had several different anna and elsa shirts and a cute olaf one too. they were all too big for our girls, but I keep thinking about going back and getting one anyway and cutting it up for a dress.....maybe. Madison also had fun trying on superhero masks (are these Disney now? I can never remember....)

we got some yummy frozen jelly bellies

saw these cute stuffies. they also had some little ball shaped characters on keychains

then, for being such a good errand runner, Madison got this little playdoh set. there was another one, but I didn't look at what character it was

I'm trying to decide if it's a good thing, or a bad thing, that I've never heard of $5 Below and we don't have any around here... There is definately a lot that you mentioned and pictures that I would NEED to have!

I am leaving tomorrow to take one of the boys I nanny and his friend to the dells, then next weekend is crazy busy, but I plan to have something together by the following weekend.

just because i'm pretty happy with them, here's a pic of the crochet crowns I made for the girls and their friends coming to the tea party. I thought they turned out so cute. the yarn was so fun with glitter thread and sequins. I also liked that they are super comfy for all the girls. anyone need a crown?

Those crown headbands are adorable!! Wish my girls would leave headbands in...I would be taking you up on that offer!

And are you referring to Wisconsin Dells? It cracks me up that it's a vacation spot for people, since it's just over an hour from my house I guess I've been spoiled my whole life... and that also explains why I have no urge to go to Disney water parks, when the "water park capital of the world" is so close by! And, it's a good thing I didn't know about your trip earlier or I would have encouraged you to bring me a load of stuff from 5 below and have a DIS meet!

hello, hello, hello.....(say that like burt from mary poppins, we've been watching that a lot lately and it's stuck in my head) just here with a quick note....

so, I still haven't made my iron on to make my sven shirt, but we have taken a step in the right direction! we bought the ink for the printer finally! I know, very exciting... I also need to get myself in gear and get the girls costumes made! and here I thought I had so much time.....it'll probably be a couple of weeks, but I WILL have a shirt to show you sooner rather than later! I can't wait until next Friday! I know the day is actually Saturday, but, in case anyone doesn't know, you can actually start making reservations when it's midnight EASTERN time. since i'm in the central time zone, that means I can get on at 11pm Friday night and make reservations. well, at least it worked that way last time, hopefully it works again. I can't wait for that to be done--one less thing to have anxiety about.

Thanks! I liked that they go on like a headband and then you don't have to try to keep them on with clips or whatever like others I saw. I hope all the girls are as excited as I am!

We got to the dells yesterday and are enjoying sleeping in right now (well, I'm enjoying not driving anywhere and the kids are asleep). I'll post pictures on FB. it's pretty up here for sure!

Yes--we're in the dells right now! We have a whole list of fun stuff planned for the week--I'm excited! It's so pretty up here. Best part so far was that the girl working the front desk at our hotel used to work for Disney and when she saw my Mickey bag we talked Disney for at least 5 minutes. It was busy at the desk but she said "oh, I'll be here this week while you're here. We'll talk later!" arent Disney people so awesome?!?

I'd be happy to make some crowns for your girls for when they will leave headbands on. I can even stick them in a box of 5 below goodies and send them up! Just let me know.....

You're sweet. I agree...we got him a brown lederhosen onesie with some brown pants and reindeer antlers on a headband..which he will keep on based on this Easter where he wore around headband Easter bunny ears for days. So, it's complete.

We just finalized all of our MNSSHP costumes...so we're all set. Loved reading about yours.

Good luck on your FP+ day..and don't worry if it takes until midnight (CT) for it to turn on..that's what happened to us 2 days ago!

Hi. One more tip. Go for the A&E FP+ on the last day of your trip, first. Then book it and you can try to get earlier days if possible..but don't start on the first day and go forwards. Start on the last day and move backwards. I am wishing you the best.

And again, there have been many reports of 1 am ET for the fp+ system to turn on so at 11 tonight if it doesn't work..try for about 10 more minutes, check in to the Disney Theme Park Strategy Thread..there will be posters with the same problem..then hit it hard at midnight.

Remember A&E first at the end of your trip.

Because our DD10 loves loves loves Elsa, she is of course dressing up as Elsa
Her little sister, 2, will of course dress up as coronation Anna

So, with brothers and a Dad, no Kristoff..that would be weird so
Our DS 7 is going to dress as Olaf -
and the little guy, also 2, will dress as Sven

Because Elsa's coronation was attended by Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, that's who we are dressing as....plus, the little ones have Disney middle names...and our little guy is Riley Flynn..so that also was a reason we picked them for Mom and Dad!

All of our costumes are in or on order now that we found the reindeer headband so we are all excited..and think we might need a bag just for the costumes.

By the way, I love your TR so much and it is very inspiring, that my wife said that I should make one for our trip. We have a busy weekend..but I think we'll start one next week.

hi guys.....I don't know what emoticon to use tonight. I could not get a fp for anna and elsa on ANY day of our trip. now i'm debating our options....
1) stand in line as soon as we get in the park for EMH to meet anna and elsa
2) keep trying back to get a FP
3) don't bring it up again and hope the girls don't ask
4) tell the girls we won't get to meet them and just talk up all the things we WILL get to do

i'm leaning towards 4 and 2. if we get a FP, then it's some early pixie dust. if we don't, well, we'll still be at Disney, right?
