DON'T CRY OR WE'LL RIDE DINOSAUR AGAIN! A Spring Break TR---Final Thoughts 5/5

After lunch, I think we walked around on the Streets of America for a little while, and then it was time to go use a fast pass.

We got in line. Rachel was going to ride with Reese.

Meg would ride with her “Mama” (Kelly, my sister).

And Elizabeth got stuck with me.

I told her this was really a good thing, because I never score very high on this or Buzz! Then, just to make myself a liar, I went over 100,000----This is a very good score for me. I’m TSM challenged! I was player 1, Elizabeth was player 2.

Next, we were headed somewhere to do something I’d never done, but was determined to do during this trip.

Where you ask? All I’ll say is that we had a very animated time.

I love me some Rock n' Roller Coaster! I was super duper disappointed that we didn't get to ride it last trip. Very very cool picture of the Tower of Terror. How come my pictures of it never turn out that good?

So, how did you like the Sci-Fi? We haven't eaten there in three years but have an ADR for dinner this coming trip. I think it's not really about the food, mostly the atmosphere.

Look at you getting more than 100,000 points on Toy Story Mania. I never get a good score on those kinds of rides. Probably because I'm too busy snapping pictures.

Wow, it seems like you got a decent amount done despite the crowds. Love the pictures--your camera takes beautiful photos.

for a great performances! I am not surprised they do not want them to take pictures of behind the scenes things. I am surprised that the students and band directors participating in the Festival of Music do not get park admissions for the day of the festival. Too bad!

AK: You found DeVine! I hope we get to see her. I am not sure when she started being out in the parks but I know we did not see her on our only other trip. The picture from Dinosaur is funny! Did it work? What great seats in FOTLK!! I just love looking at the pictures from that and the FN shows. Both will be new for us too. Goodness--what a lot of rain!

DHS: Did you end up liking Sci-Fi? I wonder if it has goten better since we were there last? Look at you going a different direction than the masses! Did you go to the drawing class perhaps?

Yes, do tell, what did you think of the food?
We sent the guys and Harper over to Sci Fi to eat when we were there for Christmas and the girls and I went to Brown Derby for Cobb Salad and Dessert.

Wow! Glad you got to squeeze in a little Fantasmic! I'm anxious to hear what you thought of Sci Fi. Was it better than the reviews? We went when Katie was 5 but I don't remember the food. (13 years ago!)

I have to agree---the food was good, nothing to write home about, but fine. The atmosphere is the draw + the fact that if you have TV loving kids, they'll be quiet for an hour!

It was just ok---Not the best hamburger I've ever had, but not the worst. It was a fun place to eat.

Now, the chocolate shake.....that was delicious!

The band did get 3 day passes as part of their package. We didn't buy them since we have annual passes. However, the band students were not using their pass for that day. They went to DHS, performed, and returned later that night for the awards ceremony. They saved their park days for when they could spend all day there.

As for the Dinosaur tactic....No, it didn't work.

Sci Fi was just ok. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I think it's more about the atmosphere.

A drawing class???? Ahhhh, perhaps I did................................

The burgers were just ok, the milkshakes were yummy. I think Sci-Fi is all about the atmosphere. I think we will probably keep our ADR for May and pay OOP on that one.

Oh, yes, Susan...I will always try to get in a Fantasmic show. It's one of my favorite things!

As you've probably already read, Sci-Fi was ok. It is a fun atmosphere, and my nephew, who's 7, will probably love it. He's such a TV addict, he'll probably sit still and just veg out for an hour.

My first time at Sci-Fi, Jackie! It is a fun atmosphere, so I think we'll probably keep our May ADR and pay OOP. The burgers are big enough, that Kevin and I could probably share, especially since everyone will want a shake.

Glad you enjoyed Sci Fi, even if you didn't love the food. Dh and I shared a burger and fries the first time we went and each had a shake. It was plenty of food.

I love the DHS pictures. That chocolate milkshake looks so good. I am so excited to try Sci-Fi. I have always wanted to go there and just never managed to make it there. We always ended up at Pizza Planet or that big CS place near Star Tours.
