I am not very good at parties, but if you need my opinion I'm happy to put my two cents in!
I think I might actually have a project.

I was reading a thread about cheap sunglasses vs. expensive ones, and a very important issue came up. Sunglasses need to block UV rays. The glasses we bought for DS may not have UV protection.

I have read the website, the Nordstrom website, every press release, article, etc. and there is NO mention of these stupid glasses actually have ANY UV protection in them. NONE. The point was that tinted lenses will fool the eye into dilating, which will in turn allow even MORE sunlight into the eye. If those rays are not filtered out, YIKES!
So I told DH and he threw a fit. He says I MUST take the sunglasses back IMMEDIATELY. Yes, fine, BUT DS has to have sunglasses. So we're back where we started.
DS told me awhile ago that there is some 24 hour video project that the Film Club is participating in. It turns out it starts tomorrow night at midnight and runs through midnight Saturday. We have a fundraiser at the school tomorrow night. This means LOTS of driving around for me.
I already told him he is NOT staying up for 24 consecutive hours. He is a DEMON when he doesn't get enough sleep. And seeing how he will have to get up at 6:30 AM for school tomorrow morning, if I allowed him to stay up from midnight Friday to midnight Saturday he would actually be at like 42 hours of awake time. Not happening. He also has an eye Dr. appt. on Saturday morning, which means MORE shlepping around to get him to the appt. and back to the rest of his video team. Sigh.
At this point I am going to take the Nordstrom glasses back and hope that the eye Dr's office has some sunglasses that 1) fit his tiny face and 2) block the stupid UV rays!
