Done It Once, Don't Need to Do It Again...?

Sounds Dangerous. Do you think i should at least try them once?????

I think you should. When people ask my opinion about a WDW attraction I'm not fond of, I'll give it to them, but I always say "But I really think you should make up your own mind." Unless I think it's something they'd get sick or injured on (based on their personal situation), I would never assume that just because I hated something that they would too. Just looking around these boards you'll see that one person's "never do again" is another person's "must-do."

Yes i did notice that. I love the ellen ride and the test track ride. We'll see when i get there. Thanks for your help.

I agree you should always try something once.
My never agains are:
Indy Speedway
Living Seas(if only my ds would let us)
Backlot Tour
Indiana Jones

1. AstroOrbiter-the most terrifiying ride I've ever done at Disney (never tried AE tho)
2. Swiss Family Robinson Tree House-I'm afraid of heights and it was boring
3. Hall of Presidents-Boring
4. Country Bear Jamboree-Stupid and boring, too corny, even for me who usually loves corny stuff
5. Agree with others about Sounds Dangerous-just plain boring (although it did give me a few flashbacks to old Firesign Theater skits-just the fact that it was sound, no visuals)

There are some things that I will not stand in line for and they are , in no particular order

MK/Hall of Presidents/Philharmagic/Share a Dream parade

EPCOT/Spaceship (this is a tradition when there is no line however, is fun to guess how many times it will stop and when I reach the stars at the top it is awesome, wanna get stuck there sometime)/Mexico (only if I want to sit down awhile)

MGM/Sounds Dangerous/

AK/Tough to be a Bug/

We do not do anything that twirls or whirls us so I did not venture an opinion on those.

I looked forward to a Beaver Tail but after having one of those it was more than enough. I do not care for Zebra Domes or Tonga Toast either. Sure glad they have so many things to chose from as there is something for everyone and if someone does not like something you do that is one less person in line. LOL

My list of "Been there done that........."

Country Bear Jamboree.......BORING, Corney, just couldn't handle it!
Indiana Jones......ditto!
Tiki Room......

Universal has more shows on my list than Disney but I'll save that for another thread! ;)

Dinosaur at AK - made me SO queasy! And I LOVE thrill rides! None of the rollercoasters or sim. rides make me sick, but Dinosaur almost did! Does it really have to jerk so much?!

For me it would be Mission Space, but have to ride it every time with DH anyway....hmmm mabe I should make him ride ToT with me then!

Tomorrowland Speedway - for all the reasons others have mentioned.

Body Wars - :crazy2:

Tea Party - :crazy2:

Goofy's Country Jamboree - (snooze)

Pocahontas' Friends at AK - (what a beating...)

Loriws--

Did you try Primeval Hurl (right next to it?)--

That is my category of "done it once; will regret it forever"

I probably will have few in agreement with me on this one, but I actually have no desire to ever ride Big Thunder Mountain again. It was fun, but just not memorable to me. Also, we were so enamored with Splash Mountain that I guess it just dwarfed Big Thunder for us. I'm also a little concerned about the safety issues they've had with BTM. I'm not dissing WDW -- I know rides can have problems anywhere -- but it helps support my own decision to stay happily on the ground by BTM!

Others of my "never agains" are common: Astro Orbiter (scared me to death -- I knew I was going to fall out of that thing!) and Tomorrowland Speedway.

Gotta agree with you on all this. I find my neck always hurts after BTMRR, yet it doesn't on any other rides, so I've decided that BTMRR just "whips" too much for me. And I just love Splash so much that when I head in that direction, my feet always gravitate towards Splash! And AstroOrbiter-it felt kind of tippy to the side, you're the first other person besides me who said they felt like they might fall out. And it jiggled too, just not a safe feeling!

Glad I have company, LOL! :p

Most of the listings I agree with, but I'm surprised at how many people don't care for the Country Bears. It is one of DH's favorites, a happy memory from early visits when the park was new. I like it, and Hoop Dee Doo, too. Maybe you have to be old enough to remember that flavor of entertainment to appreciate it.

Mission Space..rode it once and felt bad all day afterward...:(

Little Mermaid at MGM...done it once, that is enough!!

It just goes to show you that everyone has different opinions and likes/dislikes. My son (6) thinks Indiana Jones is the coolest thing and this is the main reason he want to go back. Because he loves it we enjoy watching him!! None of my family likes The Festival of The Lion King that is so popular. We have never gone back.

Isn't it great that we all like different things! Chocolate vs Vanilla..... tomato vs ta-ma-to?!
How boring it would be if we were all the same!

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but Whispering Canyon and Fantasmic!!

I LOVE the Little Mermaid, so I can't believe I'm saying this - Voyage of the Little Mermaid. I was so disappointed. After seeing Philharmagic, I don't need to see Muppet 3-D again. Body Wars, but only because it made me extremely sick for the rest of the day.
