Hey Sarah!
I know it is tough to keep going with a TR when life keeps getting in the way and it seems like there isn’t much response. But we do have a LOT of silent TR readers out there, you can see that in the “views” of the TRs compared to the actual posts. Kudos for getting it finished!
I have been buried in work so I am just as guilty as everyone else for not responding. But I’ll give you a good run in trying to catch up – here’s the first 3 days’ worth of comments
First, so sorry that you were sick the whole time

My wife and older daughter were both sick the whole trip and my daughter also lost her voice – couldn’t speak above a whisper the whole trip. Not fun being sick on vacation for sure. I’m glad you didn’t let it get you down
What an ordeal getting on your plane, at least that TSA took pity on you and that you caught your flight.
Sorry that nav system was so bad on your car but glad you got your caffeine and made it to AKL on time. Great shot of Olive in the savannah. Sounds like lunch and dinner were good. Bummer your mom was so oblivious to your condition and didn’t let you off the hook. It must be something about getting older because my mom and MiL are both the same way. Good call getting DH to take you to Walgreens after the EPCOT oops.
5:30am wake-up after your flight day??? And I thought I was a glutton for punishment!
Glad you beat the ME people to check-in at OKW. So cool that your room was ready early. Nice Christmas pelicans.
AK looked like fun, score no waiting on Dinosaur – great FP pic! And cool pics with the dinos and on Triceratops Spin (I was going to ask where the EE pic was but saw it in your next post).
So cool that you were able to arrange the family surprise, we did that on our 2008 WDW trip and it was wonderful. I’m glad the decongestant worked well enough to allow you to go on your date. What a great evening at the Cali Grill, cool pic of the two of you with your cake. But I agree about fondant – yuck! Love the shot of you two in front of the castle – so very cool with such happy smiles
I can’t even imagine trying to keep up with TR notes while being on decongestants – what a DIStrooper! Sorry the service was bad at Chef Mickey’s – it is always hit and miss at the buffet-style places. We got lucky at our Hollywood & Vine breakfast at DHS, the server was great and we were seated right around the corner from one of the buffet entrances. I hope the wee ones enjoyed the characters at least great hug with Goofy!
Monorail was the right choice to MK since MiL, SiL, and BiL and never ridden on it. Cool that your BiL/SiL got the military discounted tickets. I wish I had been a Disney fan when I was still in the service. Nice PP pics and it sounds like the Teacups were a good call for your first ride. New Fantasyland looked fun, there are such great ride there for wee ones! Great pic of Zach and Zoey on Barnstormers. Our younger daughter is the adrenaline junkie and I’m usually the one riding the thrill rides with her
Nice choice for last ride with Splash, great ride pic. And cool that you got to see the parade without it making you late for your appointment. Glad you had a nice time with your friend – it is good to get pampered a bit on vacation.
EPCOT sounded a bit rushed, but fun. You really try to cram in a lot of park hopping on your trips! Our
MVMCP was a flop too – we did too much earlier and everyone was sick except me, and I was exhausted as I had pushed both of my daughters around in a wheelchair all day just to keep them going.
Bummer about the coffee and cinnamon bun, Disney coffee is just the worst! At least you got to do SM with no line. Soooo sorry that IaSW make you sick – ear sinus yuckies and a rocking boat will do that sometimes

Glad you were able to get past it and enjoy some more rides! AWESOME SM pic!
The Contemporary sounded like a nice finish to the night – I love being in the resorts when they are that empty.
I’ll be back soon to check out Day 4!
