Doing the happy dance!!!!

I'm so happy about this I just had to share it with someone... even people I don't really know. We officially have a short long weekend trip planned for the end of March and I am doing the happy dance !!!

Normally I don't get super thrilled with short trips or going during a time that I think will be busy. But after I had such a (cough, cough) [insert major sarcasm] wonderful trip with seven members of my DH's extended family (enough said) I am looking forward to being there with just my little family and going at our own speed. With the in-laws we couldn't really slow down like normal and just take the details in and I missed that.

Granted this isn't a Podcast cruise or anything (sniffle) but I'm definately looking forward to it!

Congratulations! I'm so envious! I really want to go again next year but I think all we can afford is a short trip and that feels like it will jsut be toooo much of a tease lol. Of course, DBF's parents want us to go to Disneyland with them again.....(is there a puking smiley on here? lol) I know EXACTLY what you mean about not being able to go at your own speed. His mom is like the energizer bunny....on steroids. With them, there is no stopping to look or rest.....not even to eat really. Usually we got something for lunch that we could carry around so we didn't have to stop
