I booked the airfare for my September honeymoon WAY back in January. It was a price that I thought was fair, and STILL think is fair. $192 p/p r/t on JetBlue.

Southwest is now having a system wide sale on airfare. The same travel is $115 p/p r/t.

I say again:

D'OH!

I know how you feel Snacky Stacky! I've done that many times myself. It could always be worse ... the price could have gone the other way.

Btw, cute doggy! Is it a Boston Terrier? :p

I have a D'oh too! I booked airfare for $588 Cdn per person in May for Oct and just checked and they are $440 per person today - identical flights and everything. Ouch! TA says I can't change.

Oh no mom_rules :( Is there any way you can cancel and then rebook? Or would the fees cancel out the savings? I really don't like A/C's new fare categories, it's a lot more difficult to predict when fares are going to go down (or up).

I'm trying to get some information from anywhere!! I have been on hold for 10 minutes at two different AC Numbers. The first one when I finally got through told me it wasn't her department and gave me another number-I waited and then eventually a message came on that they were only open until 5:00pm (this was at 5:03) I am not a happy camper!!
OH well I guess I'll try # 3 and see where it gets me.

Mom_rules, I hope it all works out for you! :)

Bunnyfoo, she IS a Boston! :) Her name's Lucy.

And I know my problems not a big deal. I love JetBlue, and like I said, I think that $192 from BUF to MCO is a really reasonable price. $115 is just exceptional, and there's really no way I could have known about. Trying to be positive! :)

No luck at all (after waiting on the line for 30 mins). Even if I cancelled and rebooked I would lose $1000 deposit. Oh well-live and learn-I'm going to WDW -that's all that should matter right?

Sorry it didn't work out mom_rules :( I think it's really sneaky how they keep moving the fares up and down... it's almost as bad as the gas stations  I booked a Tango flight for my trip because after months and months of checking and seeing it was "sold out", they finally opened one fare. After I booked it, it went back to being sold out. Then when the fares dropped suddenly it was available again  *sigh* I would have prefered to book the econo so I could get full Aeroplan points but as you said all that matters is that we're booked and going to WDW :)

SnackyStacky -- She's a cutie! My DBF and I are thinking of getting a dog ... we still not in agreement over the breed though.

I think your peace of mind in having your honeymoon flights booked well in advance far outweighs the low price of SWA and having to sweat it out until July to get them. (with no guarantee that they would issue such a low fare.)

DS and I are going in September with those low flights but I would've had to bite the bullet with more expensive fares if they hadn't come through this month.
