Lots of stories out there about how terrible the "flushable" things are for sewer systems. My DH will tell you horror stories about what happens in sewage plants with tampons. In the waste treatment industry, they are called "white mice."

LOL. Nope. Zoning laws. Even now no septic tanks or sewers, only holding tanks.

I would say yes, he always does. The only time he doesn't is in the middle of the night he doesn't want to wake me up. He's sweet like that!

Thank you! That's pretty much all I could think after reading the first post about urine not having an odor. Not only that but I can tell if someone has been drinking Mountain Dew if I go into the bathroom right after they've pee'd (and flushed).

We always flush except for those times when I sleep walk to the bathroom. Luckily that only happens when I'm very stressed and exhausted, so maybe once or twice a year. Still gross but not sure what I can do about it.

After spending years in boats and campers, I've learned to do as much as possible with as little water as possible. If you're not hooked up to water and a sewer system, you're dependent on your water tank and your grey and black tanks. One empties quickly and the other two fill up a lot faster than you had planned.
