Does TOTWL fill up before Wishes?

We are heading to WDW the first week of October and second week of December. We want to watch Wishes a few times while enjoying drinks and appetizers. The question is, does TOTWL fill up to the point we wont find a couch/table? If so, what time is best to go to ensure a seat? An hour before? 2 hours? Or does it just depend on the night?

I think it will depend on the night. We went last year and there were only a few people in the lounge when we got there about an hour before the MNSSHP fireworks.

Sometimes it will fill up 10 minutes prior to the start of wishes. Especially when they have Hallowishes and Holiday Fireworks.

To be clear, the LOUNGE often fills up early in the evening, especially the tables by the windows facing the MK. The large outdoor deck is very seldom full, and outside on the deck is the best place to watch the fireworks. In my experience, views from inside the lounge are usually blocked by people standing on the deck.

I haven't been up there yet- are you allowed to take your drink from the lounge out onto the deck, or is that a separate entrance/exit area?

It's all connected so I think you are able to bring your drink out to the deck.
