Does the Beast sign autographs?

Hi,

I've heard that you can meet Belle and the Beast in France (EPCOT) for pictures. Anyone know if the Beast signs autographs? I heard some time ago that if Belle was with him, she signs for him. Does he have a stamp like Buzz and the Muppets?

Thanks!

Wendy

no, the beast does not sign autographs. In fact, I've never seen him without Belle. Now, Belle... I've seen her by herself.

When we were just there a month ago Belle signed for the Beast, one mother seemed annoyed that the Beast wasn't signing himself and Belle had to explain to her that his hands were too big. We saw the Beast alone later in the afternoon outside I didn't notice if he was signing anything though.

If Beast routinely signs thongs, I be sure to find and bring one!!!! (Not that I usually have one around, that is!) :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Actually, Beast himself signed an autograph for my nephew in France. Beast used this giant pencil and could not put much pressure on it, but he did manage to do it. :) I have read that getting him to write an autograph is unusual for him.

My daughter has a Beast signature in her autograph book. But since we often go to Disneyland too, I can't tell if it was from WDW or Disneyland.

It's funny because the Beast couldn't hear too well so when he heard us telling Mandy, our dd's name, to go on up to the Beast; I guess he heard "Maddy" and wrote "To Maddy, love the Beast".

Funny you mention this. One time at WDW I was getting Fairy Godmother's autograph, and we were chatting. She told me that Madison (or Maddy), Kaitlyn, and Emily were the most common names that she writes in children's autograph books. So I guess Beast was just assuming it was Maddy since it is so popular nowadays. :) Hope your daughter can forgive him!

She did...But she sure did watch to see what each of the characters were writing after that!:hyper:

She's 11 now and she still brings her book every time we go. She's always on the lookout for a character she doesn't have already.
