Does San Angel have outside tables?

where you can watch Illumination after dining. Can these be requested with your PS?

Mexico has two restaurants. The San Angel Inn is the nice one that takes PS's. All tables are inside, but under the stars at the same time. Great atmosphere...........but no Illuminations viewing.

The Cantina de San Angel is a counter service restaurant that is outside of Mexico and does have tables on the water that might provide a decent view of Illuminations. No PS's here and I'm not sure how early you'd have to arrive to get a table with a view. However long that is the Margeritas can help make the time go by .

On several occassions, we have staked out tables at the Cantina to watch Illuminations. we always get food and drink there while we wait. We find that it is best to start about an hour and a half before Illuminations. You may be able to get there later, but if you really want the perfect table, it is best to wait. These were typically busier times of year, however. Your results may vary.
