WDW parks?? Meaning, if we are coming from MCO airport would we visably see Downtown Disney before we get to the parks?? We want to visit Downtown Disney one day on it's own, and wondering if we follow our directions to the theme parks from the airport if we would run into DTD also??
Thanks, this is our first time, so lots of dumb questions!
Thanks again.

Traveling west on I4, you come to the DTD and Epcot exit first. DTD is not visible from I 4, nor are any of the parks, altho the Casting Center is on the edge of I 4 and clearly visible,,you drive right past it. The next exit is AK, and the last exit is MK and MGM Disney studios. Just follow the signs and you will have no problems.

If you get off at the I-4 exit that says "The Crossroads", you will be very close to the entrance of DTD.

Thanks to both of you, we should be able to find it..
Thanks again.

I have a quesiton on the subject of DTD (I'm thinking Candy wan't to know also...) How expensive/available is parking? We will have 2-3 hours to kill beween our flight landing and being able to check into our condo? Would it be feasible to spend that time at DTD, or would it be more trouble then it's worth?

(if more trouble than it's worth, is there anything close to kill just a few hours?)

Free and ample parking, like most malls.

To kill a couple of hours, you have a few choices. Right off of I4 and International is the Florida Mall, if you're a shopper like my wife. There's also several discount souvenier shops scattered about. Down-Town Disney is another choice. It is split into three sections Marketplace, Pleasure Island, and West Side. It a large area and is along side a lake. Just taking a stroll along the lake is a good time killer. Parking is free.

Marketplace has a Rainforest Cafe, McDonalds, Earl of Sandwich, Cap'n Jacks for dining, and the LARGEST Disney store in the world. Not just Disney World . . . . The WORLD.

West Side has Planet Hollywood, Wetzel Pretzels, Bongos (Cuban), Disney's Candy Cauldron, among other things.
