Just as an FYI - Mother's Day is the second weekend, and I believe it is also fishing opener - don't know if either of these would be an issue for anyone.

Aww crud Hi guys. I would LOVE to meet ya'll, but April, May, June and July are awful for me Seriously. The first weekend of May I will be down in Sleepy Eye at a wedding, and then the second weekend is my baby shower (and Mother's Day). Hopefully we can plan another one for the State Fair this year!! I will attend

April and early in May would be okey for me, but we move into the log home over Memorial Day weekend! Of course, we could always meet there and all of you could help!!

Bubba Gumps is fun. We like to go there on Friday evenings. If we planned ahead, perhaps we could get the private room they have for large groups.

BTW, I will post on the DVC board when we come up with a date.

Hi Minnesota, what a perfect user name! I am sorry you can't make it to this one and I hope too that we can have a meet out at the state fair, that would be a lot of fun!

Let's take a vote, would May 1st(sat.) or May 15th work better for everyone? I am fine with either one. And does everyone like the idea of eating at Bubba Gumps out at the Mall of America?

Unfortunately, May 1 or May 15 are probably out for me. May 15 *might* work as I am down at the Holiday Inn MOA for a Pampered Chef Regional Meeting. If we do lunch, I'll have to wait until next time...if we do dinner...I might have a better chance of making it.

Is fishing opener a huge deal for everyone else? Or are people out of town for Mother's Day weekend? All my family is in town and we are not doing the opener. Not trying to dictate date selection here...just wondering if there are a lot of fisherpeople here.

I too would vote for dinner time at Bubba Gump and it would not matter to me if it is Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Sunday is usually less crowded, but if we plan on an early dinner (5 ish) it would probably not be a problem.

Early May is pretty cramped for me. DS birthday party will be the 8th, and DD dance recital is the 15th.

I will be in town and I have no big plans that weekend of Mothers Day, so if everyone wants to have it on May 9(sat.) that would be fine with me. And I don't fish either, so that is no big deal to me.
