Does Anyone Remember Dreamflight??

Where in tomorrow land was it located? I cannot remember this ride for the life of me..

Was one of my all time favorites. Sometimes I look at the youtube videos of it!

Just past the Laugh Floor, on the right as you walk toward Space Mountain.

It is where Buzz Lightyear is now. The acceleration tunnel is still in the ride! The tracks might even be the same- If You Had Wings was a continuous loading omnimover just like Buzz is now.

Loved it, especially the speed rooms and the goofy song.

It doesn't hold a candle to If You Had Wings, which is a classic. Still, I had a lot of fun riding it back in the '90s. I really like Buzz Lightyear, but I do miss Dreamflight (and Take Flight) and the original If You Had Wings (and If You Could Fly).

I loved it. It wasn't much for effects but it had a nice atmosphere.

I vaguely remember Mission to Mars. It was pretty bad.

Definitely remember that ride as If You Had Wings. I always liked the speed tunnel part myself. I really miss the Circle Visions. I liked the one where I believe it was Jules Verne and/or Thomas Edison who traveled with you. I can't recall the exact details.

I used to work for Eastern Airlines, and I remember how heartbroken some of us were when we lost the title of "Official Airline of Walt Disney World" to Delta Airlines. 'If you had wings' was a nice ride, and I also enjoyed Dreamflight (although not as much!)

If You Had Wings was my mother's favorite attraction. She still talks about it. She had, up until long after it closed, never flown, and she always said it made her feel like she was flying. Of course, the effects were nothing to talk about, but that's just Disney magic for you!

"If you had wings, had wings, had wings!"

No. He was right. It was Flight to the Moon. Mission to Mars came later. Same circular theater that is now used for Stitch.

He said he remembered Dreamflight ...that was not in existence when Flight to the Moon was around. But, yes it is the same location. He may remember If you had Wings ...pretty similar.

He said he remembered Dreamflight ..
??
He said: "And some rocket to the moon thing." That sounds like a dead-on reference to Flight to the Moon.

Jeez, people! I know this is the internet, where pointless arguments must be had, but does it really matter if he remembered Flight to the Moon (which became Mission to Mars in 1975) or Mission to Mars? I imagine the rides were pretty similar (I have only experienced MtM).

I declare you're both right, and you each get 5,000 meaningless internet points.

At the beginning of If You Had Wings, and (I believe) Dreamflight, there was a very simple projection effect of birds (doves?) flying. I think that effect is still utilized somewhere in the park, but I don't recall where. Does this ring a bell with anyone here?

The birds, (I recall them as being gulls, but it was a long time ago) turned into airplanes, didn't they?

This was one of my FAVORITES when I was a kid! My Mom and I still talk about this ride!
