Does anyone remember the ride Delta's Dreamflight from Tomorrowland in MK? For years I've tried to muster up this most vague memory of my first trip to Disney World in 1995 and it was the only thing I remember! YouTube has a video of it, and I happened upon the ride description from a Disney blog about it! Pretty cool ride, especially at the end when you go into the clouds! (I mean, I was 11 years old, and it was 1995, but still pretty cool!);)

My favorite part was the smoke tunnel and then the 'high speed' section...

Yes!! I remember being there as a kid with my family and I was being crabby about something when we went on this ride and it ended up cheering me up and being one of my fav rides on that trip lol. Crazy how memory works though as I had that ride intertwined a bit with the people mover for a while.

my sister has very strong memories of it.
i must not have like it that much cuz i did not remember it well even after looking at a home video of it a few years ago.
and its possible that we may not have gone on it every time we went to disney world. it opened in 1989 when i was only 3 but my sister would have been 10.

Yup! I remember it like it was yesterday and I was just 6 years old on my first trip in 1992. We have it on our vhs trip video. I still remember the song and can picture the scenes.

Oh, yes, I remember it - Dreamflight was one of our favorite rides and it didn't need a ticket!!! :thumbsup2

If you had wings, had wings, had wings------------------ Now, it is stuck in my head!! :rotfl:

I think I remember Dreamflight. And also some rocket to the moon thing?

I was born in 85, and I think my first trip was during the 20th anniversary

I definitely remember Dreamflight! It was one of my favorite rides in Tomorrowland, even if my stomach did bottom out every time the plane took off.

Remember "If you had wings" and when that was taken out it was "Dreamflight" . Loved the first one better but only because that was the first one I knew. Dreamflight was good too.

I remember If You Had Wings- our first trip to WDW was in 1973, in the days when you bought ticket books for rides. A few sponsored attractions didn't require tickets at all, and If You Had Wings was one- it was sponsored by Eastern Airlines. We rode it quite a few times while we were there! My favorite part was the acceleration tunnel.

I believe it was sponsored by Delta. Back in the days of E tickets etc. some attractions were offered without the coveted E ticket. LOL. Yeah I am aging myself

I remember Dreamflight, But If You Had Wings was better lol
We used to love one of the end videos (IYHW) of the people cliff diving..lol I can't remember what I did yesterday, but i remember that :)

Eastern sponsored "If you had wings". Then Delta sponsored "Dreamflight"

Yup, Eastern sponsored it when it was If You Had Wings. We flew to FL on Eastern, and I was really impressed that they were the "official airline of Walt Disney World"!

When Delta started sponsoring it, I believe the name of the attraction was "Delta Dreamflight". Eventually, they stopped paying for it, and then it was just "Disney Take Flight" until it closed for good to become Buzz.
