Does anyone have a picture of the view without the hat?

Good news! For everyone who likes the hat, here's a photo of what it will look like once it's relocated.

This debate pretty much break down to, generally, those that visited the park during the first decade and experienced the Imagineers' original Hollywood Blvd vignette don't like the hat, FOR ITS' LOCATION, and those that have never experienced the park without the hat can't imagine it without.

I love the hat but I can see how it doesn't really fit in with the theming of the park. I'd like to think they were going to move the hat elsewhere but I doubt that will happen.

The park needs a proper icon and I don't think the Ear Tower feels like a great replacement. And how can people can photos with the park icon?

I don't hate the hat but hated that it was placed where it was ( I understand due to whatever legal issues re: the theater ) and the fact that it was nothing but a place to buy pins. What a wasted opportunity for something M & G with Sorcerer Mickey

Rusty do you think it will be relocated anywhere ( just your personal opinion nothing stated from Disney ) ? I would think near Animation Studio or would that not work ? Would hate to think it just gets broken up and trashed like so many things from Toon Town. Of course that hat is enormous.

I'm not a fan of the hat. But, I had to smile about a place to buy pins. You're right - the hat is nothing but a store!

And those of us that experienced the Imagineers' original vignette, during the first decade of the park, consider the hat as the soulless corporate pandering abomination.

And those of us who've never know anything but the Hat believe the Heart and Soul of the park resides there.

Mann Theatre as centerpiece: 12 years
Sorcerer Hat as centerpiece: 13 years

All future pictures at this park will be missing....something.
