I'm looking for a complete checklist. I've never rented a home before so I'm not sure exactly what to bring. We are going for 8 nights so I don't want to forget anything. We are driving down so I can bring everything with us. I doubt I'll have time to do any major shopping (except for milk and perishables). Besides if I buy an extra thing here and there throughout the year it won't break my budget. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Kimba

I've rented houses in the past, not recently. But lets see if I can remember what we had to buy:
toilet paper
coffee and filters
paper towels
dish washing detergent (automatic & regular)
sponge for dishwashing (or whatever you like to use)
laundry detergent (get tablets- easier to bring)
dryer sheets
salt & pepper (or other spices)
a few garbage bags
groceries of course

If I forgot something, I'm sure someone will add to this list.

Don't forget wash cloths (towels are supplied), beach towels for the pool, shower and bath soap, kitchen and bathroom disposable cleaning wipes (for fast clean-ups), paper plates and cups( if you don't want to wash dishes), dixie paper cups for the bathroom, kleenex tissues, and groceries (soda, snacks, breakfast items, bottled water, milk, juice etc...). :thewave:

I would check with the person you are renting from to see what they have stocked in their home. I know we have tons of wash cloths and pool towels.

Hi..I agree, most homes will have wash cloths....Shampoo and your favorite bath soap as most of us have management companies that put in tiny soaps...You might luck out and find paper towels, dishwashing soap, but it I would throw in a role or two. Beach towels would be a good idea as they tend to disappear unfortuntely.

Salt, Pepper, coffee creamer, maybe grab a handful of mustard and ketchup and the Fast food place, booze as it can expensive in Florida,

Have great time...Ted
