....the Disneyana convention? What exactly is it, what goes on, etc. If no one knows, anyone know where I can go to get some info?

If you mean the Official Disneyana Convention that is usually held in Florida.....
Well, this year it's in California Sept 4-8.
There is a website:

That tells you all about it.
