I am late as well, I am so sorry for your loss. When I lost my cocker spaniel Lucky last April, you had such kind words for me. Your puppy was very lucky to have you. I know how you feel right now and again, I am sorry for your loss.

Dan, I'm saddened to hear about the loss of Doc. He was a beautiful dog, and a good friend/protector of your family. Though his body is gone, his soul is still with you. Never forget his kind nature, or his warmth. One day, when you least expect it, you may just receive a "visit" from him. be open to it, and welcome him.

Oh my goodness, Dan! I just saw this post for the first time. I soooo know how you're feeling. How very sad it is to lose our beloved fur babies.

Doc was so handsome, and majestic, even! What a beautiful boy he was. I'm truly sorry that you lost him so young. That makes it even harder. You did right by him to the very end, though, and I know he's grateful for that.

I am very sorry to read this as well. I was pulling for Doc! I see he won his battle in the end though. He is romping around heaven now having a great time and it will only be a blink of an eye(to him) before he is reunited with his beloved family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our lab/rot mix Diesel after only a short 3 week battle with Lymphoma last June. It's nice to hear that you were able to successfully treat him and were given a few extra years with him.

The next few days/weeks/months will be tough but it does get better.

Gus (pictured) is our new edition to the family. After Diesel died I swore I would not get another dog but in October we realized that something was missing from our lives and we got Gus.
