Do you wear a Wedding Band? Whats it made of?

My wedding band is yellow gold with three small diamonds, and a tiny bit of engraving on each side, that was custom made in Newport. Even after 30+ years, I still get compliments on it.

I never had an engagement ring, but on my 40th birthday/15th anniversary, DH gave me an emerald cut diamond flanked with 2 trillium cut diamonds (also custom made). He also had his mother's star sapphire reset with diamonds for our 10th anniversary, so I'm all set as far as rings go.

DH is working on his third plain gold band, which he wears all the time now.

I lost a diamond out of my wedding band, so I'm wearing my 3 stone anniversery ring. I need to get a gold band to wear w/ it.

I also need to get my diamond replaced, and the ring reworked--The prongs all need work. It is a solitare, w/ a wrap wedding band.

My wedding band is gold. I never wear it. I wear my platinum past, present, future ring that DH got me for xmas a few years ago. It is the only ring I wear.

I think it is platinum. It belonged to DH's great grandmother. We believe it was given to her around 1911. It has about 6 small diamond chips and filigree around the edges. The engagament ring that matched was beautiful. It had an almost carat center diamond and smaller diamonds on the side. DH pawned it before we met. I have been on a 25 year search to find on to match the band. No luck so far.

My weddingband was my engagement ring. It is a plain yellow gold ring. I always wear it.

I voted another kind because it's both Yellow Gold and Platinum. It is primarily a yellow gold band with five channel set diamons in platinum channels.

ours are yellow gold that we had custom done- here they are from the goldsmith's website (our actual rings)

Since that picture I did have my engagement ring diamond bezel set into the ring. Our anniversary is Thursday! I never take mine off and neither does DH. I don't know why he doesn't, but I just feel lost without it. As I do without the ring I wear on my right hand.

I picked "another kind" because mine is platinum with diamonds. DH is 18k yellow gold (no stones).

Platinum (precious metal) ring with woven inlay of titanium (strength) = our relationship. Oh, and technically it wasn't a wedding band as DH gave it to me as a present long before we were engaged. After I got it, though, I knew it was the ring for me.

Although the braided metal is different, the ring looks like this.

I wear it whenever I'm not getting grubby.

I chose "another" because my wedding band is yellow gold with 4 raised diamonds (looks more like an Eternity Ring). We had it custom made to "fit around" my engagement ring (raised solitaire with 3 small diamonds in the band on each side). The original intention was to get a matching Eternity Ring....

We've been married 19yrs and whenever I've mentioned the Eternity Ring, my DH has said "it hasn't been an eternity yet dear!"....

Mine is something called "green gold"... I had never heard of it till I opened the box. It looks very "buttery". I wear mine all the time. My husband's matches and he wears it sometimes.

I lost both my engagement ring and my wedding band. My wedding band was engraved on the inside and said my initials and dreams do come true, the date we were married and dh's initials.
I hate not wearing a wedding band now that it is lost. So if anyone finds it, it belongs to me..

I have two bands -- one is white gold with channel set diamonds, which matches my engagement ring. The other is plain titanium, which matches DH's wedding band. I wear my rings stacked, with the titanium band in the middle. We both wear our rings 24/7.

I don't wear my rings around the house because they sometimes interfere with whatever I'm doing. I'm always into something like painting, weedeating, splitting wood and other things that need to get done.

My rings are platinum.

Dh on the other hand wears his 24/7 and his band is Tungsten Carbide. I really like the look and feel of his band and I am considering getting one for myself. <G>
