SO, where to start!
I've managed to keep my job for now which is brilliant but We've had to make a bit of a 'grown' up decision and have decided to postpone the expensive beach club holiday to next September (25th!) 2015 and tie in a cruise on that holiday! Mainly because we've decide it's best to keep a nest egg of money just in case anything happens in the future! That way we can re save the money for next year but still keep a lump sum in an ISA (just in case!)
So that was all sorted this week, I easily cancelled the first holiday incurring a £50 amendment fee and rebooked 7 nights at BC GV with free dining! Which we might extend to 8 nights but just booked a lower amount of nights incase!
Then instead of the med cruise we had booked for August 2015 were going to swap it to either the 4 night Bahamas cruise on the 21st sept or the 7 night Caribbean cruise leaving on the 3rd October!
Now just to hang tight for Virgin to release their flight prices!
BUT in other news as we decide to save the huge amount of money I was going to go to NYC to see my friend who lives there over thanksgiving/Black Friday as it would cost considerably less money just me flying out. Then as I was checking Virgin for flights I notice Orlando wasn't that much more money the NYC £20 to be exact. One thing led to another my friend in NYC then had us booked into all star music for 7 nights with tickets & free QS dining for $1500! I booked my flight and that's that! A cheap last minute girls holiday, for the grand total of £850 which is a damn sight less money then what September would have cost! I won't be taking loads of spends either, as we have QS we'll make the most of that!
So there you go I now get to go this year just on a bargain budget trip and then I still get the chance to go to the F&W and cruise next year.
So it's good news all round and the OH is looking forward to 'a week off' with the boys
We're going to Skype later to get our character meal dining booked in and that's about all the planning were doing! 130 days to go
