I make a pot of coffee and get breakfast going (we stay in a villa).![]()
Now That's the way to wake people up on vacation.

When I went w/my roommate who was used to working a night shift every day, we would set the 1st morning aside to let him catch up on some sleep & the rest of the trip, we would discuss plans & wake up times together. I never made any plans or reservations until late morning when I went w/him. We are night owls at Disney but no matter what, I am usually up around 7:30 the next morning & ready to go w/no alarm needed.
I always think it would be nice if I'd get to at least MK to see the RD show but I never force myself to wake up for it or rush. When I go solo, I tend to stroll in the park just after RD or sometimes a bit later. But since I do not have children, I don't take that midday break. It's open to close for me w/breaks in the parks or resort hopping.
