Do You think DISNEY has gone down hlll the last few years?

That sounds reasonable. Those casual visitors either like or dislike WDW to begin with and just see it for what it is at that moment.

Some of us who are more than casual visitors see things in the now, also. Maybe that is where some of the clash comes from. It is actually easier for me to do so at wdw, than it is at Universal, where I go less often. Lol, that is because I compare it to the original, one of my favorite places ever!

Front of the Line Access is free if you stay onsite and you do not have to run around the parks grabbing fast passes! Just walk up to the FOTL entrance and with barely a blink, you're on the ride!!!!Oh and you can use the FOTL as many times as you want if you stay onsite. My daughter and her friends ride their favorites over and over.
Contrary to what you've posted, you can only use a fast pass one time before you have to get another one , and then get another one and so on.
Also, if you had gone to the gift shop at the MIB ride and told them about the locker, they would have refunded your money.

I've done the FOTL thing at Universal and honestly I think it is money well spent. I prefer the atmosphere of Disney to that of Universal, but I love the rides at Universal. The FOTL pass basically enabled us to spend all but 1 day of our vacation at Disney and we were able to hit all the rides at both Universal parks in 1 day (this was pre-Harry though). I'm glad Disney has free FP's but like it was mentioned above, you can only get 1 every couple of hours and there is a lot of walking back and forth involved. At Universal, you just walk up to the entrance for the ride you want to go on, when you want to ride.

Both parks have pros and cons, but as far as Disney going downhill, the only apples to apples comparison we have is to use the Disney of the past.

My advice for those who do not reading the bad and the good is to read elsewhere. Voice your protest by not opening these threads!

How is this different than saying "if you don't like the parks don't go?" If people just want to read and comment about the good and bad, it is the same as you wanting to comment on the good and bad in the parks.

I think that everyone that posts here likes the parks. Otherwise why would they even be on this forum? So the comment about not going if you don't like the parks is pointless.

Also, I don't understand why others try to tell people what to talk about. Trying to police conversations is a bit pushy IMO. The only people who have that right is the moderators and webmasters here as far as I know.

Agree. We all love Disney and this is exactly why we discuss things. If it was just some random vacation and we had bad experience, we would just never go there again but Disney is in heart of everyone here, it is very different.

Also lets imagine for a moment that instead of discussing,complaining, writing letters, people indeed just stop going, how this will affect Disney? Lower attendance would only lead to more cuts. It is shame that people miss a point of speaking up, we care and we want to make a difference for us and for you, rose glasses wearing crowd.

I absolutely feel that everyone should be free to talk about anything acceptable within DIS guidlines just as I feel that anyone should be able to point out things where Disney has slipped.

I saw the post above mine clarified but I wanted to add that yesterday I called to cancel a night at GF RPC. The CM asked, "What can we do to convince you not to cancel your room?" I thought was odd. She was very sweet. This was the very first time in all of the years we've been that a CM has asked that question.

Wow, it looks like Disney has a falling occupancy of 83 percent. I guess that's with the FREE DINING offer huh? I wonder would the percent would be if free dining wasn't offered? On the other hand I would think 83 percent is good occupancy rate though, isn't it?

That was in July wasn't it? No free dining, right? I am not real sure, though. I wouldn't think 83 percent is a terrible occupancy rate. As far as the Priceline thing, I have booked nice resorts through them many times. No different than the other travel sites, imo.
