No, only those comments that I disagree with.
I've actually comparison-shopped for our January 2012 vacation. WDW is coming in less expensive than the alternatives. It just is.
I think you are proof that a high post count does not equate to any sort of knowledge. You have literally argues every single point anyone has made.
No, not reality. I've simply done the comparison shopping recently, so I know how inexpensive a WDW vacation is, as compared to the other destinations we've considered.

Cape Cod is a good example. St. John USVI is another (and our favorite vacation destination). Key West is pretty expensive, especially once you budget in dining. Also try pricing out a balcony on an Alaska cruise.

You comparing Apples to Oranges. You can compare only same category vacations, in Disney case, amusement parks deals.
No I'm comparing apples to apples. Your choice to see them as different doesn't apply to my family's vacation preferences. You comparing Apples to Oranges.
The willingness to argue has nothing to do with whether someone has knowledge. Your post is as rude as anything that has been posted in this thread.

Good point. Even with one of my examples: In St. John USVI, you can get something really low-end for about the cost of a WDW budget resort room, while an actual hotel room is going to cost more than a WDW deluxe resort room.Donut, if you choose the deluxe rooms you can't whine about the cost, because there are so many other options. At least that is my opinon. You can find $300 rooms in any city in america, if you look hard enough.
Yes, surely it can, and is. The accommodations are comparable. They're apples and apples. And WDW is inexpensive by comparison.Just because it applies to category "you vacations" does not mean it is in a same category.
That's ridiculously self-fulfilling. As it is, you can't compare WDW to Universal because WDW simply offers more than Universal does, starting with four gates. WDW is much more comparable to St. John USVI, with all its various activities, than Universal. You can compare Disney to Universal but never to cruise or beach vacation, if you want to state a professional opinion.
It is though. The accommodations are comparable. They're apples and apples. And WDW is inexpensive by comparison.
