Do you play video games?

I've played around with MAME some in the past. I've even seen MAME boxes that look like classic arcade games.

Haha, late reply - but yes, Seiken Densetsu 3 is the next game in the Mana series after SoM. I also didn't like SoM - I got stuck too! Every time I went to go beat some stupid green grasshopper looking boss, it would just simply get stuck there. SD3 is WAYYY better, imo. I'm playing Sim Theme Park now - stupid RCT3 keeps crashing upon startup so I've resorted to kiddie theme park games! I'll figure out how to get RCT3 working eventually...

Uninstall RCT3 and re-install it.

What kind of hardware are you running on? I was having a terrible time with the game crashing on me, to the point where I couldn't play it.

It turned out it was some kind of weird issue with the power-saving features of my machine. Once I turned off the "Smart Fan" in the BIOS and set my machine to "High Performance" it has not crashed since and has run like a charm.

I'm using Vista Ultimate 64-bit on a fairly modest Intel-based Dual-Core machine.

Books are those things with pages that predate video games. I'm sure a few of you have heard of them.

I'm not much of a video game person.

I am however a paper, pencil, and dice gamer. In fact we're playing D&D tonight!

I actually started using a DOS emulator a couple months ago because I wanted to play King's Quest 3 and 4 again. Since I'm not an overly technical whiz it was kind of a pain to get it up and running. But it was worth it.

An old friend of mine tried to teach a group of us how to play D&D when I was about 12......and I was the only one in the group who didn't understand it. I have a problem with numbers and statistics. While they did D&D I'd either go off and play video games or would just go home.

Yeah that's about the age I played D&D too... never could really get back into it when I was older, though I still have some of my stuff.
