Ok off work and alot of down time going on.. I sit here and wonder is it only in my mind? (yes my, children i still have one)Everyone here i see and read about, are really apart of my life, i think about you , wonder how your doing in your quest's of life, the troubles , the worries ,the fears,and Blessings going on here. I look foward to logging in , and seeing an ole friend..its not like reading a book where you get to know the people and then the book is done and they are gone. you all are real,and just because we log off, maybe some of us only check in a few times ..but were always here to listen , to help, send a some PD , or a prayer , or a hug.So even when I am not around its nice to know your not a book , your a soul out there living day to day , and I can always count on you when I need a freind

I agree. Warm words. but makes me think. I worked for 7 years with many people at the high school I just resigned from. I thought we where friends. These are people who I have met, talked to, shared my hopes and dreams with. I quit on March 28th. Out of all of those so called friends only 2 several weeks after I quit got in touch to see why and see if I was alright.

It is as if I never existed. As the saying goes, life goes on. Do you honestly think anyone would care or bother to investigate if any of us stopped posting? Maybe a few people who be noticed, but there is too many of us and since most have never seen anyone face to face I highly doubt anyone would notice or care.

Yes, the Dis board is good for some fun, someone to chat with, but not for a lasting friendship. Just My Opinion.
