I'm afraid not.. They just keep telling me that clearing my cookies should have solved the problem - which it obviously didn't.. Based on the fact that others have experienced the same problems recently it must be a glitch within the DIS and not individual computer problems..

Although I'm not crazy about being a "newbie" again, I can live with it as long as I don't have the same problem somewhere down the road because I don't have anymore email addresses I can use to re-register with.. When I tried to re-register with a new user name and new password it wouldn't let me use the email address I had as C.Ann and there is no way to UNREGISTER..

We could change the email addy on C.Ann to something different, then you could use your regular email again...

TOO FUNNY!!! My initial thought: "What The...??? How did my MIL get on the DIS?"

Around here, my MIL is known as GrandmaT and my mom is GrandmaD.

Can you really do that? What would you change it to? If it can be done, that would be great! At least if I get "locked out" again I could re-register as "Sybil" or something...............

I've had the same problem and had to reregister twice. But strangely, I can log in on "strange" computers under my old login. I don't know what the problem is.

I have a pretty "strange" computer up to the lake - but then again, there's a lot of "strange" things up there...

If I go up again this weekend I'll have to try to log in under C.Ann and see what happens..

If it works, I can drive everyone nuts here with my "dual personalities" - LOL...........

Thanks! I think I'm going to wait till I go up to the lake though and see what happens if I try to log in as C.Ann..

These problems that you're having are strange. It has to have something to do with cookies but maybe at the DIS end. But it's good that you're here.
