Do you know anyone famous?

I've met a few famous people. I live in New York City and had volunteered with Broadway Cares. I met many celebrities at their fundraising events.

Last year, outside of the David Letterman studios, I shook hands with Bill Clinton. It was a thrill.

Last month, I had a CD signed by Barry Manilow.

I don't "know" anyone famous. But I once gave Neil Patrick Harris a ride in my car.

All I know is Ric Flair. He used to be a super regular at the bar and we all drove him home more then once. I had never herd of him until he started coming in. Even then no one really cared except the guys who freak out and ask one of us to ask him for an autograph. He never said no but we started to refuse unless it was a little kid.

Yes. I have a pro basketball player a few house down, a pro hockey player across the street and a TV celebrity next door that many here would know. A friend used to play for the Reds who most would know and another just retired from the Yankees.

I know several country music singers. I also know Melissa Petterman who was on Reba and The Singing Bee. I have met tons of Country singers. Oh, I have kept Lee Ann Womacks dogs before. Love her.

I had a pro-football client that nickeled and dimed me for a trip to Miami and free upgrades. I would not have known who he was if someone didn't tell me though because I didn't really follow football at the time.

My BIL knew tons since he was a professional photographer in L.A. for about a million years and had the stories to tell.

Joseph Wambaugh used to be a regular where I work.

Former Pirates/Twins/Orioles pitcher Tim Drummond is my nephew (only diehard baseball fans will even vaguely remember him LOL!)

I remember him (although for some reason I was a diehard Twins fan in the late 1980s/early 1990s, which is odd since I was from Boston)!

I am first cousins with a former President of the United States. Ironically, my wife is also cousins (more distantly; second cousins, I believe) with another former President on the other side of the political aisle. Sadly, neither of us harbors political aspirations.

In my business I work closely with many very famous people (I do I.B., so whether I like it or not I get to meet many whose money I've placed). I'm not trying to be mysterious when I say that unfortunately I cannot disclose their names or even any vague details. I also know over a dozen billionaires, and all but one are incredible down to earth and are very pleasant people. The one who isn't, however, is really a jerk (but I suspect he would be even if he did not have a dime to his name)!

Went to school with and was friends with Dwayne Johnson.
I used to babysit for Andre Reed's (Buffalo Bill's player) cousin. I did not care for him at all.
The Andretti's used to keep their plane at my friend's parents airport. He was really cool.
I went to school with Larry Holme's daughter in elementary school. Also knew Bobby Weaver (olympic wrestler).
Met Barry Williams when he was at my college for something and my roommate was assigned to take care of him.
Good friends of my parents lived next to to Willy Nelson.
Ran into Tucker Quayle a few times. Wasn't so keen on him either.
Ran into Bam Margera a few times when we still lived in that area and frequented some of the same bars.
My mom dated Jim Plunkett when I was younger but I don't remember him at all.

Define "know." I've met tons of famous people but they wouldn't recognize me if I ever saw them again.

However, I know and am friends with lots of people who might be known. Several pro-athletes, a few country singers, many many radio and tv personalities (some national, most local to about 15 different cities.) They would all know me on the street, we hang out, have each other's phone numbers. Some are more of professional acquaintances but many are true friends.
